This sauce is a bit bland in my opinion, sweeter than I like and lacking in some of the herbs I like to add in a home cooked sauce. It is great for a meal in a hurry or if you're having to prep multiple meals for fussy kids but I think if you have the time it is always worth making your own. The price was reasonable and the jar is the right size for a small family batch of bolognaise or multiple uses as a pasta sauce for small children.

This dolmio low fat pasta sauce is absolutely delicious and goes delightfully well with your favourite mince to make a scrumptious Bolognese. Rich in tomato flavour and low in sugars. I picked up this product at a good price.

I loved this sauce. So convenient to use with pasta and the taste was just as good while being a healthier low fat option. I would have liked a bit more texture with vegetables but just added them in. I thought this one was more runny than there other flavours and a little too expensive so would but again when on offer.

This low fat version of pasta sauce made a perfect Bolognese. Very rich and full of flavourful tomatoes. Although there are less calories and fat, we could not tell the difference at all. The jar is a generous enough size to make a meal for a family of four . I combined this with a veggie mince for a an extra healthy meal.
This sauce was actually really lovely! Although I do keep a look out for healthier alternatives for the store cupboard emergency supplies, I do often find that the healthier versions are often compromised in taste. Definitely not the case with this one, still rich and flavourful and perfect with pasta.

I'd like a healthier alternative to good quality sauces but there was something off with this one. pretty tasteless and like others says the consistency of it isn't quite right. Not to mention these jars were 500g they've now shrunk to 450g for the same price.
I love Dolmio sauces and this one is tasty too. However with all the other ingredients used in dishes where the sauce is employed adding to the calorie count I do feel that this is a rather gimmicky and pointless product. I'll be sticking with the original in this case.
