Amazing fridge. Works great on both 240v and 12v.At home we use it as a freezer. It's pretty quiet (although I wouldn't want to sleep right next to it). It works well for that and has huge capacity. I've noticed some frosting occuring on the inside of the freezer, so you may occasionally need to give it a clean.On 12v I had it running in the back of my car on a hot day and everything was nice and cool. Works wonderfully with a lithium battery + solar setup.The app is great, I can check the temperature and voltage of my battery via bluetooth.If the fridge is empty, the average-sized male could lift it on his own, otherwise get a friend to help.It may not be the cheapest fridge on the market, but you are paying for high quality and modern functionality.

The staff were brilliant, when we asked about the particular fridge freezer which we picked up which was a dometic 95 L.They went out of their way to help from loading onto a proper trolley to even insuring we got a discount based as club members. Whenever I look for anything now to do with four-wheel-drive and camping BCF Bunbury is the first place I go to.Just a call out to the young man who served us Mason absolutely awesome you guys are lucky to have a guy that’s so good

The unit works brilliantly as long as the temperature outside is less than 30 degrees every time. Every time the outside temperature goes over 30 the unit has a compressor start fail, I have even installed a 12V fan to remove the heat from the coil, but this did not help. Unfortunately, I cannot trust this unit and couldn't recommend it to anyone. BCF however has been amazing about the warranty process so no complaints there whatsoever.

Loving this Fridge/Freezer, holds temp well and doesn't take long to get there.Rugged construction and easy to use Bluetooth interface. I'm running it off Solar and it's doing very well.A great edition to my Camping gear :-)
I have been looking at one of these fridges for a long time (12 months or so) before making the plunge and purchasing it. My only regret is seeing how big the fridge is when it is in the car. I did measure it up and check the space but not until physically seeing it in the back of the Ute and realising “this is a big fridge” did it click. Nonetheless still super happy with this product!Recently did a trip and had it fully loaded with both zones sitting at 2 degrees. Safe to say the food and beers stayed nice and cold and the 12v system I have (solar inclusive) kept up with the fridges demands effortlessly!One happy camper here!
I wanted something that I could set at a certain temperature to semi freeze drinks. The consistency of the temperature inside the freeze isn't even, but this properly doesn't affect most people. Drinks at the bottom freeze but drinks at top stay liquid. Slightly louder than I would have liked.
Took my new fridge on a cross country trip from Brisbane to WA. Lasted about 2 weeks then died. Took it to an agent in Alice Springs but was told my only option was to return it to where I bought it or wait 2 weeks for parts. Neither option was possible so had to drive to BCF in Darwin to get it sorted even though there were Dometic dealers in Alice. I called the warranty hotline and the bloke who I spoke to was arrogant and rude. I’ll never spend another cent on a Dometic product. BCF in Darwin was awesome, they swapped my dead Dometic for an 80L Engel which is a great fridge and doing the job nicely. I’ll never spend another cent on a Dometic product and I suggest you don’t either.
Called BCF Taree while camping 2hrs away after the fridge wouldn’t cool and it kept starting and stopping 30 seconds later. When running the fridge kept displaying erratic volts.BFC staff advised me to take it in and they’d swap it over only to get and be told no it needs to go to the repair agent which is another 45 minutesThat’s easy to do while we are camping 2hrs away with no fridgeI would not recommend buying one of these fridges especially from BCF Tare as their customer service is terrible and a broken product that was bought from one of their stores is not their problem.
Fantastic fridge freezer, have it sitting in my slide-out on AUSRV XL15-4E. Robust, dependable, unbreakable! I’ve used other products in the past, but won’t go back now. I love it! 💝
Taken this on it’s first camping trip and set it up on the fridge slide in my Land Cruiser. Running on 12 volt from the Anderson plug with freezer set at -22°c and fridge 2°c. Once we are parked up for the day and the sun goes down it drains the battery by about 3am. Going to ring dometic during the week.
