Bought this and the CFX3 55IM, from the get-go the fridge slide unit squeaked and rattled to no end. If it was mounted in the bed of the truck it would probably be no problem but inside an SUV and driving on paved road it will not stop making noise. The problem is exponentially worse if you hit potholes or rough road. I believe the locking mechanism and factory provided slides are mostly to blame. It needs heavier duty slides (or higher quality) and to swap the rivets for bolts and nuts to stiffen things up. Will be looking for other options that ride silently.

Received fridge slide after some delay, due to unavailability, but at a great price.Unfortunately, unable to use, as it was aimed to use in a new vehicle, which has not lobbed in Aus as yet! Hopefully later this year or early next year, will I be able to put it to the test!

The slide could "hold" the cooler better. You have to strap the heck out of it to keep the cooler in place from sliding front to rear. Second they could have made it cantilever out more than it does. I have a cover on my truck. I have the unit mounted as close to the tailgate as possible. When I drop the tailgate and slide the unit out, I still have to open the cover to open the rear section of cooler. To me this is just poor engineering. Happy Trails Folks!

The Dometic Fridge Slide is very tough and strong. The roller slides are working very good. This is very excellent product!
This is an excellent tray, at least for the CFX3 35/45. It is very well built, very sturdy and has great mounting points. The slides are very smooth and lock into the in and fully extended positions. It can easily hold the weight of the cooler and everything inside it.Its a bit pricey but honestly for the ease of installation and the quality I couldn't have built something better and saved enough money to make it worth the effort. Let alone lighter weight.Its a bit heavier then I expected, but it is also for more well built then I expected.We installed this into the back of our Jeep Wrangler TJ and it works amazingly well. Good and solid platform. Easy to install and use. Slide not high enough to go over seals so had to install spacer boards for extra height.
I still have no idea hiw well this product work. It has been over a month since I've placed my order ,and it still hasn't even shipped.
I like the ability to secure the fridge to the slide in a couple of different ways.Solid construction!
Still don't have this product. I put in my order July 22nd and order response stated I should receive within 10-14 business days. I inquired real-time on Aug 13th about my order only to find out it would be another 2-4 weeks. I'm sure the product will meet my expectations but communication about when I can actually expect to receive my order have been less than stellar.
