Compact and stylish design, Easy folding and unfolding mechanism, Highly functional and visually appealingMy opinion is the folding , compactness etc are all good. But the steering mode (parent push kid) is not a good experience. Out of 5 stars I think I rate it 2.5 . It’s not easy to steer/turn the trike. Not easy meaning not smooth. You need to apply more force to turn it a bit. It result in jerky experience. In a sense it’s very rigid I would not recommend this to anyone just my wife likes this brand. Else pushing my son daily I would rather throw it away if it didn’t cost me so much money. Not sure oiling would help. Honestly so expensive product expectation is perfection.

Overall great tricycle. Early Christmas gift and our 18 months old absolutely loves it.She's still just a tad short for peddling, but she's trying! Way more fun than the stroller and ton of other parents who see it instantly agree. She also really enjoys pushing it around. Not sure about the review that said the airline lost it... we rolled her right up to the plane put it in the overheads! Have been using it while on travel instead of a stroller and only downside is she can drag her feat when she doesn't want to be in the trike. So not a total stroller replacement, but she loves steering it.That said, please create an upgraded parent handle!! We got the midnight edition and the parent handle is plastic with a seam that chafes your skin. Going to go to a bike ... MoreOverall great tricycle. Going to go to a bike store to get it wrapped with handlebar tape (was on the website seeing if they had leather wraps like they do for the stroller). Also if there was an option to get a wider one. Know it wouldn't be quite as travel friendly, but as a 6'2'' male with large shoulders, end up pushing it with one hand which means I do all the steering by twisting my arm. Needless to say my wrist is quite sore and my hands are very scratched. No pain no gain? But these are both easily fixable.

I love the trike, it’s a great design and convenient and my daughter seem to love it too. Love functionality that can switch pedals for them yo be in non moving position or move once you push. Very easy ti set it up and seems comfortable for a child.I have it for a year now and I dont have it in daily basis. Over winter we barely used it at all. However recently for the last few month the handle become very difficult to manoeuvre. When I need to slightly turn trike it gets stuck on whichever side you are tying to turn and it takes loads of strength with both bands to straighten it. I ened up few times in situation when was walking really fast and by slightly turning almost getting trike with my kid bump into a walk or standing car on a side. Now J am very conscious ... Great product but considering the price it is disappointing that the handle started to get stuck with such limited use.

Its good in general, however when using it on flat surfaces, it can still get stuck. If baby/toddler is tall enough to put feet through the slot, they can accidentally stop the trike with their feet and it can cause my steering out of control which makes it go forward and the baby/toddle could have went forward if i didnt have my usual grip on it.My toddler is also tall for a one year old, and the hood is touching his head already. Its a nice looking trike, with cup holder and sun roof etc, however, I will see what its like once my son can ride on his own, as if i dont feel its manageable for him, I will sell afterwards.
My little one LOVES her Tike! She stands by it immediately when I mention we are going outside for a walk. The steering took a little getting use to (it’s not like a stroller) but I felt it was smooth to handle even with one hand. This is not your typical 4-wheel drive stroller, so you just have to be careful on uneven surfaces as the center of gravity can easily be shifted when going on grass, uneven pavement, dips, or bumps. At this point I make sure to hold the handle with both hands and take my time. I usually go for walks with my little one and grab a coffee along the way, so handling the Trike with a cup of iced coffee in hand on uneven pavement can be a little challenging as I asure the safety of my child. With that being said, it would be great if somehow ... MoreMy little one LOVES her Tike! She stands by it immediately when I mention we are going outside for a walk. I usually go for walks with my little one and grab a coffee along the way, so handling the Trike with a cup of iced coffee in hand on uneven pavement can be a little challenging as I asure the safety of my child. With that being said, it would be great if somehow there was a cup holder attachment for the parent on the steering handle. I understand because of how the handle works it may be difficult to attach one, but I think we are advanced in technology to make one that maintains its own center of gravity as you manipulate the handle; like the 360 spill proof gyro bowl for toddlers, I’m sure something similar can be invented. The cup holder at the front of the Tike I use for my little one’s water bottle. It gives her easy access to grab her water whenever she’s thirsty. I could place my ice coffee there, but I don’t feel comfortable leaving an iced coffee within her reach and it defeats the purpose of convenience during a walk. I love the compatibility for storage or traveling. We will be taking this with us when we travel. My little one enjoys it. She doesn’t peddle yet but hangs on to the handles proudly when we go on our walks. If a parent cup holder attachment could be invented this would be one of the best stroller replacement for many toddlers and parents.
Only used so far in stroller mode, but I’m glad we have it.Pushing it takes a little getting used to but is fine.Folding and unfolding can be a little awkward.Limited storage space compared to stroller basket; the storage bag fits our folding diaper tote and a couple water bottles. Will probably start using a backpack more often to make up for the limited storage.Tall 12 month old seems to love it.Folds up to be much smaller than our traditional stroller. Can hang small lunchbox bag on the handlebar/storage bag.
It folds well and it’s light. That’s all good I can say about it.Our son is a tall boy, but he is only 21 months old. If we use it without pedals it is uncomfortable for him as his legs are too long. He pulls feet from straps, relaxes them and then hurts himself as his feet start touching the ground and shoes are getting pulled and squeezed. If we use pedals he pushes a wheel with his feet and it is very hard to maneuver and to turn.In addition the straps that are keeping him on a trike can be escaped easily and when he is bored he would just stand up and I end up pushing trike with one hand and carrying him in another. We tried everything, but it’s just not that good for toddlers who are tall and active ♀
We bought this for our daughter’s first birthday a few days ago and she already absolutely loves it!The design is great, everything is in easy reach for her. It manoeuvres well and is light to push in the parent steering mode. We haven’t tried any other modes yet, but I’m sure they’ll be popular with our little one.The only downsides are that the shoulder pads for the harness aren’t long enough (or fixed in place) and consequently the straps rub on the baby’s neck and shoulders when the pads slip about, and the steering handle could do with being a bit wider and extending a bit longer for dad to use more comfortably. Finally, the pedal straps don’t do up tight enough for her so her little feet keep slipping out, even with shoes on.Other than that, we love it!
The Doona S5 Racing Green Trike is an excellent investment for parents looking for a versatile, stylish, and functional tricycle. The sleek design in racing green not only looks great but is also incredibly sturdy and safe. I love how it easily transitions through different stages, growing with my child. The folding mechanism is a game-changer for travel and storage, making it super convenient to take on the go. Overall, it's a high-quality product that combines practicality with elegance. Highly recommend!
This trike is great. Bought this for our daughter to use for our Grandson. She loves it. She finds it easy to setup / fold down and push along. Carrying in the supplied back pack bag is a cinch and it all fits in the car without any problems. Our grandson is only 7 months old as the “user” but it allows him to be much more connected with what's going on around him than in a stroller.Yes you have to wrap up in the chilly weather. We also have the rain cover for this trike. If you are a go out in all weather person, your little one will need this. Only been used since Christmas, but with the quality of the product I see no reason our grandson will not use this through every stage of growth / development.A worth while purchase - highly recommended.
