Nothing beats the classic and delicious crunchy nacho cheese chips! The type of chips that work good for any occasion. Not to mention, the perfect go to snack, binge food, gaming fuel, and taste buds pleaser. I personally don't care for cheese all that much on my own terms, however Doritos has the perfect amount of cheesy taste, it never goes wrong! Haven't tried any other flavors but I don't need to when I've never opened a bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos® and it wasn't delicious! I've only consumed one other bag of Doritos since then (by myself) and I think it's safe to say that I need to go buy more. So that way I can eat them all. Absolutely amazing, my all time favorite chips. The spicy chili pepper flavor coupled with the lime is fantastic. Completely different from flaming hot, it's similar to takis but half of the salt taste if not 1/3. The heat builds the more you eat and it has a nice mouth tingling sensation. Occasionally you get a bag that is a little light on chil pepper powder like 1 bag out of 20 times purchased but the lime is always consistent. You can't say that about takis and its horrible inconsistency. Goes great with everything from sandwiches to crushed up and added to something random like mashed potatoes or Velveeta Mac and cheese. The BEST Doritos , bar none! I live in the sticks. Our “supermarket” is akin to a city’s 7-Eleven or a 24-Hour-Store. I food shop once a month. The cashiers are accustomed to me “stocking up” on food (veggies, legumes, hamburger, etc) so I don’t feel weird coming through with 4 bags of corn chips.🤷 Yeah, I did once! I scooped those 3 bags up, coveting them greedily in my shopping car, a pirate with a chest full of gold coins. I stopped at Dollar General on the way home found 2 more bags. With the bags I bought from Amazon, I have enough for two months. Now, I will try to explain why these are so much more preferable. The Spicy Nacho were not very spicy. I actually had a hard time finishing the bag - they were that blah. I had two more unopened bags that I donated to the food pantry. There also isn’t a lot of flavor on the chips. I did find an occasional orange chip that was spicy, but, the majority were just plain. That’s a plus if you don’t prefer spicy or you have kids. The Spicy Nacho would probably be great in such circumstances. I don’t use a dip so a plain chip is a plain chip. 🤷 If you catch my drift…( Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn’t fuzzy, was he?) The Sweet Spicy Chili’s very different. There is sufficient flavoring on each chip. I don’t get many “naked” chips. lol. Even better is that a lot of the chips are bubbly. I know, sounds silly. But it’s so nice to get chips with lots of bubbles. 😝 Lastly, the flavor is unique. I’m certain there are people just waiting to jump all over this to note how bad these are for your health. MY POINT EXACTLY! If am going to eat food that’s like cement to my cardio-vascular system, it may as well be enjoyable. Spicy Nacho doesn’t have much salt. Hey! These are CHIPS. They are supposed to be as BAD as possible, so please keep piling on the sodium. I’ll BRAVELY suffer through it. 😉 The bottom line is that these chips rock! They are salty with a touch - a minute touch - of sweet. I’m a little worried because they could not be found in the first week of the month. Please tell me they aren’t discontinuing them!! That’s what happens to every product I start to like: GONE!

Makes me cry (in a good way)

recently, i discovered that im allergic to cool ranch doritos. when i was younger i was obsessed with these chips and would only eat them if i ever had a craving for snacks. later on in life i stopped eating them because they started to taste like ranch. after my manager bought some for all of the employees though, years after me turning my back on these lovely chips, i decided to try some. surprisingly, they no longer tasted like ranch! my taste buds were dancing all over the crunchy, zesty, backflipping flavor. boy oh boy did i love the first five minutes. well, until my lips started to burn. Stale Tasting!!

It had probably been close to 8 years since I had some Cool ranch Doritos chips. I needed a snack so I bought a small bag out of a vending machine. They were better than I remembered! I decided shortly after when I was grocery shopping to grab a bag at Walmart. I had a few other people try them and we all agreed that they were very stale! I thought I'd grab a bag at Target instead and in my opinion they were still as well but not as bad. Still not worth eating. I've since tried the family size at Walmart and feel like that was even worse than this size. At a totally different vending machine at a totally different location, I grabbed another small bag and those were great!Maybe in 10 years I'll try another large bag of Doritos but probably not. Way Too Much Nacho Dust

So I am a fan of Doritos and nacho cheese is one of my favorite flavors. I even get excited when I come across the fairly uncommon 'over-dusted' Doritos chip that looks like it went through the seasoning tray two or three times.However, in my latest purchase of a combination snack chips box with Doritos having a sell by date of 15NOV2022, I was astonished to find 3 out of the 4 bags in the box loaded with an absurd amount of seasoning. After dumping the chips out, there was about a tablespoon of dust at the bottom of each bag. (Not to mention the caked layer of cheese dust on the chips that would put a powdered donut to shame)I love a flavor blast, but this was too much.
