Dove Antibacterial Hand Wash Care & Protect Pack of 3 Protects Skin from Dryness, Moisturizers More Than The Leading Ordinary Hand Soap, 34 oz

It smells very fresh and clean. It lathers normally, and does a great cleaning job making my hands feel moisturized. That’s something you don’t normally see in hand soaps giving that this one is focused on bacteria. This definitely rivals bath and body works. More product, more clean, more moisture, and they have good scents if you don’t want this one. (They have sensitive skin options too, so definitely good for tots learning how to wash their hands. No chemicals entering their mouths when they suck their fingers after washing their hands.)

I've been using Dove Care and Protect Antibacterial Hand Wash for a while now, and it has exceeded my expectations. The formula is gentle on my skin, leaving my hands feeling soft and moisturized after each wash. Despite being antibacterial, it doesn't dry out my skin like other brands I've tried. The mild, pleasant scent is a bonus. I feel confident that it effectively eliminates germs while caring for my hands. Overall, it's a fantastic product that I highly recommend.

A skin saver

We found the Dove Antibacterial Hand Wash during COVID. A family member had a transplant during this period and due to the immunosuppressants we had to take exceptional measures to prevent infections. Hand hygiene is at the top of the list and all of our hands were cracking open from alcohol sanitizer and hand washing . This product saved the day. Everyone's hands started healing by the third day after converting to Dove Antibacterial.I do have to say this last round of refills does seem to have a different fragrance that I am not a fan of but it does not remain you your skin so we will deal with the minute of usage while at the sink.

Bring back the old version!!

The new formula is terrible. I absolutely loved the old version and it was my go to. I was even excited to be ready to buy a new bottle since mine had run out in the bathroom but was then devastated to find it’s not the same product anymore. Why why why do companies keep doing this???? Why can’t they stand by a good product for their customers?? Why do they always change things to poor quality but then try and get loyal customers to think it’ll be better?? Soo done with this. Bring back the old version please!!!!

I Don't Recommend

I was a fan of Dove soap for years and then they changed the formula. It smelled horrible and it dried out my hands. I stopped buying it. Many customers complained. It’s been months since I bought any soap. Today I decided to give it another try. I hoped the company listened to the feedback from the customers. They didn’t. My hands are dry and cracked. Dipping them in acid would have felt better than using this soap! It stinks, burns and left my hands dryer. What a waste of money! Not worth a dollar, let alone five

NOT just a design change!

I'm so glad I'm not alone! I bought the cylindrical bottle from Walmart quite some time ago for our upstairs bathroom. I loved it so much! It smelled amazing, and my hands would feel so soft all day. I was ecstatic for the day about a month ago when I ran out of bathroom soap downstairs and hurried to get another bottle. No cylindrical bottle, but design change is only design change, right? NOPE. I noticed the soap itself was slightly more liquidy, but most importantly my hands feel DRY after using which is a stark contrast to everything Dove stands for. It's definitely a complete 180 from my beautiful upstairs bathroom soap. I nearly thought Kroger had sold me a counterfeit product! Then I came to the Dove website and realized I'm not alone. New formula??

I’ve been using this soap exclusively for almost 2 years, and Dove sadly must have changed the formula. My hands used to be moisturized, and I didn’t even need to use hand lotion no matter how many times I wash my hands throughout the day. Now my hands are extremely red/irritated/inflamed since my last purchase of this. I feel like there’s still residue on my hands after washing, and they don’t even feel clean. You can visibly see the difference in the formula in my refillable soap dispenser (Bottom is the old formula and is thick creamy and white. Top is what I just purchased, and it’s thinner/more yellow). I’m really sad, because it took me a long time for me to find a soap that was antibacterial and gentle on my skin. Hand soaps were creating some sort of reaction on my hands . I'd have cuts redness bumps and dryness. I'd dig at them in my sleep. I went through a dozen different hand soaps trying to find one to lighten up the severity of my hands. Then I came across doves hand soap line and I tried the antibacterial one. I loved it. I looked it up and saw the line was changing. I went back a few days later and grabbed this new version of the soap I loved thinking it would be the same and it isn't at all! The smell is terrible. It smells like cheap perfume. It takes forever to rinse off. I washed with one pump and rinsed my hands but they felt like they had a residue so I rubbed my hands together again and my hands were covered in suds. I did these steps multiple times and my hands never came out soap free so I just rinsed and dried with a soap residue bc I was already rinsing for 30 seconds. You can definitely feel the residue bc my hands feel dry and tight after washing. I know my review probably wont be seen and it probably won't make a difference but I really wish they'd reconsider this new version bc I don't think this will be a success.

Ya messed up, Dove

I don't know whose bright idea it was to change the formula but, you SHOULDN'T HAVE. I started buying your Antibacterial Hand Soap because my wife's hands would turn red with other soaps. So, we tried your soap. Ding-ding-ding-ding, we have a winner! No more burning or redness. It works well for us both. And then, with Covid, we were covered because of its antibacterial properties. I went to buy more today and couldn't find it. Went online and found THIS --- seven other disgruntled customers giving 1-star reviews. And, after reading those reviews, I won't waste my money on the NEW, UNIMPROVED version.My advice is to bring back the old formula even if you call it something different. Just, BRING BACK THE OLD SOAP!

disappointed

To Whom it may concern; To Whom it may concern;I have been a LONG time customer of all of your products. However, recently I have purchased your aloe and eucalyptus hand wash in the pump container. The reason I'm reaching out is because this is the third time that I've found that once the pump container is roughly half full it stops working. The only thing that comes out is air and some bubbles. Not sure what the problem may be but I have loved your product in the past and this is very disappointing considering the price and the fact that it was more than one time that it happened.
