Dove Bar Soap Shea Butter 100g

Before I bought these bar soaps, I was just using liquid soap. However, I felt like something was missing from my shower routine. I've seen people using these Dove soaps all over and decided to try it myself. First thing that caught my attention was the smell. You can smell the bars while they're still packaged and once you lather it up on your towel/loofah, it smells even better. It also doesn't completely wear off once you step out of the shower, you step out smelling fresh all day. I've never felt cleaner after using Dove, it leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth. Combined with my lotion, I get more compliments from my boyfriend now that my skin is so soft. I recently had an entire underarm journey that took me from trying to find one that would WORK effectively, and still having BO, to getting insane swelling in my armit that hurt just by putting ON deodorant to a rash that was SO BAD that I had to completely QUIT deodorant. I tried everything..and I mean..everything I thought...except this, actually! Since the bottle color was so similar to the others with active ingredients, when I'd given up on ever having the physical ability to comfortably apply antiperspirant ever again, I guess I just couldn't see there was any difference. I did so,and, after obtaining from any ointments under there except soap / apple cider vinegar and coconut oil, I felt all better in the pits. I had been advised by my friends who had told me Dove was their go-to antiperspirant. So after working SO HARD to regain my armpit health, I didn't want to take a chance on ruining them again with anything "harsh", so I bought myself this brand and formula by Dove. And, Big big happy result-NO irritation, no rash, No swelling..and zero BO, best if all, lol

There is nothing to dislike skin soft and glowing good quality moisturizing feel very clean after a shower from a long day. Great smelling scent. Lathers great! What I love about the Beauty Bar over Dove’s shower creams is that the lather is almost instant after swiping, whereas their liquid shower creams take a bit longer to lather (so lazy). I find the lather on beauty soap superior in quantity and thicker in consistency. My shower times have reduced lol. As someone who does not use a shower flannel/fluffle because I can never really feel confident on keeping it clean. I enjoy the physical application of using a bar because you can physically run it over all of your skin as opposed to shower creams where you try and stretch your lathered amount. This has really contributed to a more enjoyable experience! Again, as someone who literally dries off, puts on clothes and focuses on skin care of the face. I love that my skin doesn’t feel taught or dry! My Eczema is not aggravated or activated whatsoever! My inner elbows and back of legs remain skin textured and hydrated. My broken skin doesn’t sting nor look more red. my upper arms have definitely improved somewhat in reducing the rough texture and just maintaining a good level of moisture there. In general when I run my hands over any part of my body, my skin feels smooth and not scaley, particularly my legs! My skin looks like SKIN, clean, moisturised and hydrated.

I recently tried the Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant in Cool Essentials Cucumber, and it has taken the new spot in my repertoire! I really enjoy the Cucumber scent. Its not overpowering or perfumy so you can wear it with any other scent. This deodorant really protects against sweat and odor throughout your busy day. I have sensitive skin and its gentle on my skin, never had any irritation which are all really important. when you apply it, it glides on smoothly and doesn’t leave any white residue on my clothes. I highly recommend this antiperspirant for anyone looking for a long-lasting protection for all skin types with a refreshing cucumber scent!

I am probably one of the only people on this planet to use a bar soap. Most everyone I know uses a body wash, but I still prefer the bar. (soap not establishment). This formula lathers up quickly and gives a wash that does not leave you running to your lotion right away. It is a pampering lather and the scent in the shower or the bath is a great way to cleanse your spirit while washing the day away. When you use it with a poufy, you can generate a lot of lather to cleanse your skin and leave it supple. I love the all of the Dove products and started using Dove because of my mom. She has used Dove for over 50 years! Dove is officially endorsed by two generations of girls in this household!

Due to the moisturizing nature - the bars go more quickly than other brands - to help preserve them a bit longer - I keep them out of the “line of fire” of the shower nozzle. Even if you’re not using a vanilla gourmand fragrance - honestly it smells like shea butter soap - so you’ll ultimately just smell clean.I usually use Dove bars for sensitive skin or the gentle exfoliating which pair so beautifully with the clean smelling Philosophy Pure Grace fragrances! Good for sensitive skin and smells great!

I've been using this particular soap in this particular scent for over a year now. I have severe psoriasis and I don't tend to switch to new soaps very often for that reason. I'm extremely sensitive to perfumes a lot of other things that tend to go in most soaps on the market. When my husband and I decided to switch to this brand and this sent I was nervous as you can imagine. I'm happy to report that I've been able to use this for more than a year now with no adverse reactions and it has never irritated or worsened my psoriasis in any way. The cherry on top of course is that it smells so good! I find that one bar lasts the three of us close to 2 weeks .
