Daily wash may take out natural oils from your hair leaving them dry. Very dry hair can damage easily.

We placed a delivery order recently with Wal*Mart a few items were delivered from our local store. They left the order at our door left before we realized it was the wrong order. It was short but would turn back into a frizzy, tangled mess 1 minute after thoroughly brushing taming without touching it!), my hair is off the charts! It's crazy thick, unbelievably frizzy, more porous than Spongebob, incredibly weak dry. I can't shampoo daily (it takes too long makes the texture worse) I absolutely have to put products in after each shampoo too keep it under some sort of control. I'm always looking to try new shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, treatments, leave-ins in hopes of finding the hair miracle I've been hoping for. My goodness, this is it! Even before applying a leave-in while my hair is still damp, I can tell that my hair is unbelievably soft! I have covid, so I went longer than usual without shampooing (finally did today) even after several days, my hair felt silky, smooth, soft, with very minimal frizz or tangles! This is like something out of a dream! I highly recommend this conditioner! I also recently started using OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Shampoo, which is great helps a little, but this stuff is the true miracle product!

I am m not sure what magical ingredients go into this, but the products have transformed my hair. I was forever searching for my "holy grail" shampoo and conditioner and nothing ever 'wowed' me. I have fine-medium hair but a lot of it. I struggle with my roots getting oily and my ends being dry. My hair also gets very tangly. Since using this shampoo along with aDove conditioner, my hair is shiny, smooth, and I can run my hands through it! I cannot believe how much it has done for my hair. It is truly my holy grail, and despite the price, I will continue to repurchase it because there is nothing that has worked as well for me...

Formula has changed for the worse

I have been buying Dove shampoo and conditioner for many years from Sam's. Dove has changed the smell and the formula. My hair actually looks oily after I blow it dry. I have fine thin hair and the old formula always worked well for me. My hair would blow out to be light and bouncy. This new formula just weighs it down. It does not even want to take to the curling iron. All of my bottles are going back to Sam's. Dove, do you even test out your changes? Plus, let your consumers know this is a totally different product. Let me guess, you are using cheaper ingredients and tying to pawn it off as the same product.

Great Shampoo, but one accident

I love this product so much. It makes your hair feel like it is super smooth. What I don't like about this product is that when you wash off the conditioner, it's slippery on the floor. So be careful you might slip and fall. If you can't handle slippery stuff and you know you are going to fall, just don't buy it.

Old version was better

I'm sorry but I dont like the new formula. I don't mind the new smell but my hair no longer feels soft. It feels so dry like straw. I am looking for a new conditioner now. Fyi...I have used Dove for years and always get compliments on my hair. One friend calls it Pantene hair and I always say no, it's Dove.

Overpowering scent

As a conditioner, it’s great. Lightweight, makes my hair super soft. That being said, the scent is OVERPOWERING. I’m going to keep using it, but I’m going to smell the others in this brand next time to find something a bit more subtle. Seriously if you’re sensitive to scents at all - stay far away from this and pray that nobody you know ever uses it. It’s not a terrible smell, but not pleasant. Very very very “old lady perfume”. My hair still had a strong scent 2 days later.

Smell is a bit too strong but it works good

Works good, hair isn't greasy and feels nice and clean, but I don't like the smell. Its a bit strong and artifical smelling (more so in my hair then when it was in the bottle), but a very typical dove smell. I get headaches from strong smells, and if my hair is not up in a ponytail or a bun, I get headaches so I can't use this. If they made it unscented, I buy it again in a heartbeat. But if stronger smells don't bother you, i'd recommend.

Terrible Product

This shampoo and conditioner did nothing to help my hair. But the biggest thing is the smell. It is so strong it gave me a headache!!!!! It is smells like a very very very sweet permanent, you know like what you get on your hair to make your hair curly. And the smell does not go away, it is still just a strong the next day. The only way I got rid of it is to shampoo and condition my hair with another product. My overall opinion it does not work and it just plain stinks! Do yourself and you hair a favor use something else.

Used to be the best

I've used this shampoo for a decade and the most recent formula change and the addition of coconut oil was not an improvement. I have thick, coarse hair and the new formula for the shampoo and conditioner just don't work well for my hair. WHY does everyone put coconut oil in EVERYTHING?! It makes my hair more brittle and feel like straw. Also. The scents changed, stronger and more floral. They used to just be a nice clean smell. So disappointed.
