Dove Exfoliating Body Polish Crushed Lavender & Coconut Milk, 10.5 oz

I am used to exfoliating with vegetable sponges, as they do the job so much more effectively than body polishes and scrubs. This product, however, amazed me to the point I will switch to alternating the polish and the vegetable sponge and here is why. Dove made and earned the power of its brand by delivering high moisturizing power in (mostly) cleansing/hygiene products, which are usually notorious for drying out the skin while removing body oils along with impurities. This exfoliant is not what I expected. Unlike most exfoliators, the Dove body polish has very fine beads. It's not as course as other products. For that reason, I believe it's very befitting for Dove to call it a polish. This product is more of a finishing touch. It doesn't feel like it does the hard work in removing dead skin. It's not as harsh. Instead, it feels like it removes an additional layer of dirt your regular wash didn't get. Because the body polish isn't as harsh as typical exfoliants, I feel like you can use it more often without tearing up your skin. The fragrance is light but effective. The lavender was calming and perfect for a bath before bed. Unfortunately, the scent does not stay long and is washed away with the product. A little bit of luxury but not an absolute necessity. If you have a few extra dollars to spend for a nice home spa feeling, give it a try.

I’ve used Dove products for a long time. I don’t use bath bombs a lot because of the residue they leave even after washing it off. I’m not a big fan of lavender either. This bath bomb by Dove was exceptional and it smells lovely. I love the lavender and honey scent combination.

I've only used this product once, (in the last few days though,) and giiiiiiirrlllllls let me tell you!! The relaxation that this product brings, ontop of leaving your skin smelling beautifully, is un real! I def recommend this product to all of you other women out there that love your bath time! I'm definitely going to be investing in more of these soon!

The exfoliating body polish is gentle and smells super nice. I wish it would be a little less gentle so we could see results faster. I've been using 3 to 4 times a week during my shower and I like the way my skin feels after. I've been applying on my heels and I think it helped to remove dead skin.

with the scent Lavender and Honey Macaron was a pretty all in one bath bomb. The scent was very relaxing and refreshing. No glitter or shimmer were used in this bath bomb. It quickly dissolves into the bath water and very easy to use.The bath itself felt creamy and relaxing and refreshing with sufficient lathering. Having a bath with this product make you feel soft, and smooth. It has no greasyness at all. I would reccomend this product especially if someone wanted a quick solution for self care and for long lasting fragrance, then this bath bomb would be a perfect addition of choice.

First I love this moisturizing body scrub...the smell is gentle and soothing. It exfoliates gently, I have no complaints. Yes, it's not cheap but you get what you pay for here. I sometimes add it to a cheaper plain bodywash (like Ivory) and extend it's use.
