Dove Men + Care Elements Charcoal Fortifying Shampoo - 350ml

Showing off tantalizing things like charcoal components and 90% natural ingredients. - The actually liquid is an unflattering translucent grey color. It also has a slimy consistency. Also a bit runny. It kind of seeped off my palm too easily. - Mixes well with water and becomes soapy quickly. - Isn’t super heavy feeling like other shampoos - I left it on my hair for 2-3 minutes and rinsed it out thoroughly - The smell it leaves is good. Doesn’t smell too fragrant and isn’t super potent either. It’s a good balance of smelling good and subtlety (described by another person as very neutral. I used it twice to see what it would do long term. I was pleasantly surprised! It is pretty drying, which is really my only complaint, but I didn't use a conditioner with it. It did actually make my hair feel stronger, even if it didn't make it too shiny, but again, I didn't use a conditioner. The smell is pretty literal; it smells like clay and charcoal, but I actually enjoyed it. It's a mild smell and very earthy, not overpoweringly "dude" smelling. My hair stayed clean looking for about three days after the wash, so its longevity is nice.

Amazing and Shocked!

Wow!!! Well, first of all, I was a little hesitant on trying this product because I thought it would be too stripping on my short curly hair and would leave my scalp too dry. It does NOT! This shampoo is very moisturizing, and leaves like a relaxing feeling on my scalp. I think that has to do with the Charcoal and Caffeine, but any way, When I try a product, it's important to wash my hair with it, comb after and air dry to see the results. I did that with this product and my curls were full of body, shine and most of all, very moisturized! If you use styling products daily like I do, this is a perfect option too...An excellent shampoo that refreshes your scalp, leaves your hair looking shiny and full of BODY! Dove, you're awesome!!!! Big FAN!!!!

Deep cleaning and soft too, nice

This product is the best smelling Dove Body wash. I also bought the soap. The micro-beads help clean my skin well, not just later hung it up in layers. When caring for my junk, the hard soap is my best bet and it cleans better than any other soap I’ve used before, from Dove or any other brand. Rough enough to leave you clean, while leaving your skin soft too. My wife loves its scent and she was really intrigued by the soap bar color. It didn’t bother me at all. Doubles as a shampoo and bodywash

This is listed as a shampoo, but it works just as well as a bodywash.It doesn't take much product placed on a sponge or louffa to produce a lot of lather.This doesn't have much of a scent to it.After using this to wash my hair and body, my hair is always manageable and soft, as is the skin of my body.The pump on the top of the bottle is a nice touch and makes use in the shower, very easy.Overall, I have absolutely no complaints about this shampoo/bodywash. I will absolutely finish the bottle and would be willing to purchase this again.Recommended5 starsCheers!

Hydrating Body-Wash That Leaves You Feeling Clean!

I have always enjoyed using dove body wash; not only does the scent always smell wonderful, but it feels like it’s actually hydrating my skin. Normally, I try to stay away from products labeled “for men,” as I feel my skin usually feels dry and slightly irritated afterwards (the only products I use that are intended for men are deodorant and cologne). When I received this product, I by chance had just run out of body wash the night prior, so this went directly into my shower and I was pretty excited to try it. I used this product over the course of about 4 weeks (as did my spouse) and we both had very similar options (surprise, surprise!). However, this product did leave something to be desired.There were two things that I absolutely disliked about this product; The micro-beads and the lather. I felt that the micro-beads at times did not wash completely out of body hair (for example, I once picked micro-beads out of my leg hair after a shower because although I rinsed well, they just decided to make themselves feel at home); this didn’t always happen, but when it did, it was a huge inconvenience. The lather was also something I was disappointed in; unless you were using a loofa (which lets be honest, is not an everyday activity), the lather was pathetic. I feel like a lather is telling me it's working and allows me to see where I may have missed washing, but this did not lather (well, there was just a little lather, but nothing to “ooh-and-ahh” about), and thus, I stopped using it as an everyday body wash, unless again, I was using my loofa (in which case, the lather was fantastic) or I had just finished working out (which this makes a great after gym product).Overall, I thought this product did exactly what it was intended to do. It left my skin feeling hydrated, smelling great, and feeling clean. I definitely would purchase this product again, specifically to use after I am done working out. I recommend this to guys (or gals) who don’t really care about the lather or the micro-beads possibly being caught in hair. It should be noted, that I did receive this product in exchange for my honest opinion and reviewing purposes; I do know that my experience will not be the same as another’s, but all information is provided to allow the consumer the ability to make an informed decision.

I've suffered from extremely dry scalp (I don't recall what the actual symptom is) for years, I tried the stuff that was prescribed by my doctor but nothing seemed to work. Eventually, I ended up using Palmers Cocoa Butter formula, I would squirt a few onces into my scalp and rub it thoroughly, this helped control the dryness but it left my hair oily. Recently, I was at my local drug store looking for a men's shampoo and I came across this shampoo, I figured I'd give it a try and I'm glad I did. The shampoo helps control the dryness in my scalp for at least 24 hours, anything past that and I do start to see a little flaking in my scalp but nothing remotely close to what I was experiencing prior to using this shampoo. Perfectly CleanHair

I absolutely love this product! It cleanses my hair & scalp perfectly with one application—no need to wash twice within a 24-48 hour period. I highly recommend to the Dove Men+Care Charcoal + Clay Purifying Shampoo to any guy who wants magnificently clean hair. And, I’ll note that I have an issue with my hair sometimes becoming too oily; this product removes the oil & keeps that issue in check.
