Pros: This shampoo has a very strong,lingering scent (if youre into that).Cons: I donhave an oily or dry scalp and most shampoos work just fine for me but this one is really bad.It didnnourish my hair and scalp at all, it made my formerly nearly dandruff free scalp and healthy hair super oily and really threw off my scalps oil balance while leaving the tips of my hair completely dry. We tried the Dove Nourishing Rituals Repairing Ritual shampoo with coconut oil and turmeric recently, for visibly repaired and nourished hair. My husband went crazy over this product. He felt it was very hydrating for his straight/wavy hair in comparison to other shampoos he has used. He said it made his hair feel silky. I like that it doesn't dry out my wavy/curly hair. It works on natural hair as well as chemically processed and straightened hair. Great for wash and go looks as well as before hot tools. Helps rid product residue. Glad we tried it. The scent is different, I didn't prefer it at first but now it's grown on me.We received this complimentary product from Crowdtap. The opinion is my own.

I love the shampoos from Mexico that are a bit "slimy" and have a stretch to it. I don't know what it is about that texture that is so perfect for my oily, thick, wavy, frizzy hair! This Dove shampoo though smells great (the Mexican ones aren't bad, they're just different from my usual taste). It helps keep my baby hairs calm. Doesn't cling onto my hair after washing. I think it's my "holy grail" omg is that sacrilegious? Sorry

The quality of the hair after washing is disgusting, they are unruly, difficult to comb and tangle. The shampoo requires after itself a full range of care products: masks, conditioner and non-washes (preferably in oil) to make the hair look decent. Solo shampoo use is out of the question. I don't know if it makes sense to write something else. The main disadvantage is dandruff, the appearance of which was provoked by Dove. And it is because of him that a whole bottle of shampoo will now stand on the shelf in the bathroom.

I use Dove shampoo but this is my first time with this specific type. It seems to be more harsh than other Dove products. Before conditioning my hair feels really dry from using it. The scent is also very strong. If you're sensitive to scent this one's probably one you'll want to pass up. It smells good but it's very heavy on the scent.

I tried a bunch but the only thing that would work to be able to brush my knots out after showering was biolage damage repair shampoo, biolage dampage repair conditioner mixed with bedhead moisturizing conditioner, followed by Its a 10 leave in hair masque for 5 mins, then once I was out of the shower after towel drying my hair I had to use MULTIPLE detangling sprays and It’s a 10 argon oil spray to be able to comb through my huge knots. Although I was able to comb through my hair, it all left my hair so oily and greasy looking. I felt like I could comb and brush my hair and it eliminated a lot of my frizz, but my hair was always super oily, and just hung there with no volume. I started wearing my hair up a lot of days bc of how oily and flat it looked.I had honestly given up that I would find the right product. I ran out of my biolage hair repair shampoo so ordered more on amazon. I popped to the store to get something to use until the shampoo I ordered arrived, and this shampoo just happened to be on sale and there was a BOGO coupon. So I threw the shampoo and conditioner in my cart figuring it would work for a few days until my other shampoo arrived.The FIRST time I used both the shampoo and conditioner I could immediately see a difference in my hair. After only 3 days of use I was ASTOUNDED at the difference. I could easily comb through my hair after only using the shampoo and conditioner, it took the frizz out of my hair, I had a lot more volume and my hair wasn’t oily or greasy whatsoever. After only a week of using both, I could actually see my hair getting healthier. It wasn’t as dry and brittle, was softer to the touch, and had a great shine to it without being TOO much shine. I continued to use this product and 3 weeks later I finally feel like my hair is healthy again! I wear it curly 90% of the time and have noticed that now I can get a better curl than before after adding moose to my hair, and despite the high humidity outside, the intense frizz I used to fight with before, is gone.I have been blown away by this product and have found that expensive isn’t always better! I spent a fortune on hair products before finding this. I hope Dove never stops making this because it has truly been a game changer. I can finally put my hair up at the gym, take the hair tie right out before showering, and not have to fight with huge knots in my hair after showering!I would definitely recommend trying this product if you have struggled with any of the issues I have! My hair is SO damaged from heat styling that it often feels dry and brittle. The shampoo is thick and lathers well. My hair felt nourished and clean without being stripped of its natural oils. I like that this is formulated with avocado extract since avocado can help prevent breakage and contributes to shiny-looking hair. The smell reminds me of a luxury hair product you would find at a spa!

I loved the Dove Nourishing Rituals Fortifying Ritual Shampoo! It smells amazing and works awesome! The biggest pro point that I noticed was how little product I needed to lather up my hair! I have long hair, atleast 5 inches below shoulder, and I literally only needed a quarter size of product to lather my hair, which never happens with any shampoo. So there is definitely value for money. It also smells good and gave my hair volume. My hair still looked good the next day and held volume which is rare. It didn't dry out my hair, and I didn't feel that I would need to use a conditioner right away every time I wash my hair. I would definitely buy again!

Loved this shampoo so much

I started using this about a month ago in combination with the matching conditioner and all I can say is wow! I love it!After using for the first time my hair smelt fantastic and so super soft. The sweet coconut scent is gorgeous and really refreshing.Within a week or two I had noticed my hair quality improving. It felt more nourished overall and smoother and more silky.Now after using for a month my hair feels super moistures used and nourished l. Split ends are minimal and I have even noticed that my hair has started to grow a lot quicker.Overall I really do rate this product and will definitely be continuing to use in the future.

I use 2 rounds all the time.NOT SO GOOD STUFF: Although I understand that this shampoo is for intense nourishment, I felt on the 2nd day of the wash my hair felt quiet greasy to touch and feel. It didn't have the 'only washed it yesterday' feel to it. I felt it a bit too heavy and hair felt flat, but maybe because I am used to have bouncy, free flowing hair all the time. I am still willing to try it as maybe it was just a first use hunch perhaps, but do not let it put you off.However, I feel that if you have very very dry hair, this could be the answer you are looking for.
