I have very thick, long hair, so I always found it difficult to really lather up my shampoo. It usually just sort of creates a thin layer of product that weighs down my hair and doesn’t want to break down or distribute throughout. This, of course, means it’s also hard to wash out completely, which is probably why my hair began to have less volume over the years and has been looking more flat/gets oily pretty quickly (because of the shampoo buildup). This shampoo, on the other hand, is super easy to lather up and takes significantly less product. It made my hair instantly feel lighter! I could pick up my hair in the shower and really run my fingers throughout it at the roots, massaging my scalp and getting the product all over. It also smells great! It’s not a specific scent and it’s not overbearing, but it’s a nice, light, fresh scent that I really like (which is surprising since I don’t typically enjoy products labeled as such - “fresh scent,” “ocean air,” “fresh linen,” etc.). It made my hair feel so clean after using it the first time and every time I’ve used it since, I am just more and more amazed - especially since it costs less per ounce than my previous ones did! Overall, 20 out of 10! Would recommend!

i have thick wavy frizzy hair and have tried every product on the market. i just took a chance and bought the Dove moisterizing shampoo %26 conditioner. Best decision. this is the 1st product that has made my hair feel soft and smooth without feeling oily. I find it really controls the frizzing. great product. highly recommend!

I honestly can’t say anything negative about this Dove shampoo/conditioner when it comes to how my hair feels. I have fine but thick hair that gets tangled easily and after using Dove it’s sooo soft, shiny, and much more manageable. I LOVE this product for how nice it makes my hair.However, be prepared to have your entire space smelling like very strong perfume. It isn’t a bad smell, it’s just really really loud. I’m not sensitive to smells and prefer nice smelling things, and even I think it’s too much. This would definitely instantly trigger a person with fragrance sensitivities.However (again), I like that my hair smells lovely for literally days after using this. The smell does fade considerably but it’s still very much there. First, it is only fair to say I love Dove products. This one just wasn't my product I guess. I just started bleaching my hair after growing old colorbout during Covid and acceoting my grey hairs. The rest if my world, could not. So began the frosting process to blend. Got this shampoo and conditioner as a set. Rather than leaving my hair silky and / or soft, by the next day i was greasy at the scalp. Like i didnt eash my hair for a week greasy. My hair was thoroughly rinsed, yes. I even cool shoot it to lock in moisture and close the cuticle up. lts ok, my hair just didnt like this one, so we will try the other one again. Menopause may even have some part it is playing in this so we're not even upset about it. It dies smell great, though!!
I have fine hair but a lot of it. I started to see my hair thin out with a lot of high end and salon quality products so I took some advice from Abbey Yung, (a content creator on YouTube) and purchased this dove duo. THE VERY FIRST TIME USING IT GAVE ME THE BEST HAIR EVER. It cleansed, (make sure you wash your scalp twice, and that goes for any shampoo) and I conditioned only the mid down of my hair, never put conditioner on top of scalp. Also people make sure you lather in your hands the shampoo and conditioner before applying it. Anywayzzzz I have tried EVERY salon stuff out there. For heat protection I use the Pantene miracle spray. My hair looks and feels great with the combo.
My daughter gets compliments on how healthy her hair looks and how beautiful… she only uses this shampoo and conditioner and even puts a little conditioner in after her shower, to blow dry. She also tells me almost everyday some one tells her how good her hair smells. People have this weird thing against dove and I don’t get it. Dove body wash are the only ones my daughter and I can use without irritations. Love everything dove !!!

This set is perfect. I am 51 and I do not dye my hair sits a very light grey, almost white. Grey hair, i am discovering, is a bit more course than mormal hair and brittle. Well it was, but now its soft and bouncy. Thank you dove! Incidently, I leave the conditioner in for 5 minutes. Probably doesn’t matter. The only downside is has a strong sent. My husband loves it on me, but our son said he'd love to try it but he doesn't want to smell like a girl.

I only use Dove Intensive Repair. I've used it exclusively for a few years now. I have tons of thick, curly, color treated hair. It tends to run very dry. This conditioner, in particular is great at adding moisture to my hair. It makes the ends look healthier and helps with frizz. I always recommend it to others. I've seen it transform hair from a frizzy mess to shiny, healthy looking locks. It's really fantastic. The smell is pretty good, too. I leave it on for 2 minutes, comb it thru then rinse the front/roots of my hair really well. I leave a bit in the back, from a few inches down, then add my hair products.This set is great for traveling. I use the pump bottles at home.
