DOVE WOMEN DEODORANT ANTIPERSPIRANT STICK ORIGINAL 40G

I love Dove products, and have tried a variety of their scents and options. Nothing beats the original clean deodorant stick though. Paired with the same body wash or body bar you’ll be smelling fresh and clean all day. This is also one of the only deodorants that leaves my underarms feeling smooth and not irritated. I’m not sure but I think it helps with dark underarms as well. I’ve noticed the skin doesn’t look as dark as it did before.

I have used dove consistently for years. Its one of the only deodorant that doesnt irritate my skin, and actually works. The original is a great clean scent. It goes on easy and lasts literally until you shower the next day! I absolutely love this product , keeps the sweat away! Keeps my armpits smelling fresh for lack of a better term. It definitely does what its suppose to do for me. I just picked up a two pack from Walmart for around $6.40. The prices all have gone up in recent months. Dove Original Clean antiperspirant leaves me feeling confidant, even when exercising. I don’t have to worry about chalky white stains on my clothes. It has a fresh scent that doesn’t interfere with my cologne. The 1/4 moisturizer in it provides softness to my underarm area.

This deodorant smells good and works well. I made the mistake of using it right after shaving. I must of had a cut because my armpit became clogged and I got a huge knot under my arm. I consulted the doctor and he said that this is common with dove antiperspirant. It clogs pores. He advised me to never use it right out of the shower or after shaving. Im not sure when would be more appropriate to use deodorant than after a shower. 🤷🠽†♀ï¸

To start with, packaging. Nice, ergonomic feel to the stick; easy-to-use twisty thing to get the product up to a level to use - and back down again so that one doesn't catch the lid on the stick and make a mess. The top is easy for arthritic hands to remove and to replace after use. I was a bit taken aback by the little bit of plastic I had to remove and discard before first use, as I thought we were all trying to use less plastic these days, but I guess that's to prove that it hasn't been tampered with. The product itself goes on easily; the stick is a nice width so I don't need to do a dozen strokes to get proper coverage, 3 or 4 is enough. Conversely, I'm sorry to say, despite the claims to last 48 hours, the product barely manages 12. By about tea-time, I feel like I'm starting to smell a bit sweaty, and need to wash and re-apply the product. To sum up, I wouldn't use this as my workaday deodorant; but I'd happily take it on holiday, when my days are more leisurely (and therefore less sweaty) and I'd likely be washing and changing my clothes for the evening anyway (something I don't do in "regular life").

I have always been impressed by the Dove range as it seems to be a range that really cares and puts a lot of effort into finding out what it’s customers are looking for. The deodorant stick is an ideal example of this and the fact that the ingredients care for your underarm skin goes to prove that Dove goes the extra mile with their products. The deodorant stick is an ideal shape and size to have when travelling or to slip into your handbag for any on the go freshen up moments during hot weather or for women of a certain age! It is easy to use and glides on smoothly and you can really feel the moisturing cream. It didn’t leave any residue and, as you would expect, didn’t cause any skin irritation. I would certainly buy this again, although I would probably go for the invisible dry stick as I wear a lot of dark clothes and I know that one has been tested on lots of different colours. I am going to give this product five stars because the fact I would prefer the invisible dry is just personal preference and that aside the deodorant stick was easy to use, performed well and caused no skin irritation. Another winner from Dove!

Wow! I’m a convert. I decided to try a roll on instead of spray due to burning. I didn’t have to look far - dove is my favourite brand, but any other ‘roll ons’ I’ve ever used have been sticky so finding something ‘non stick’ was essential. So I went for the stick - which is a cream rather than a sticky and wet conventional roll on. As soon as I removed the secure cover inside the cap which helps keep it moist and not go crusty I knew it was a good choice. The scent was lovely - clean and fresh yet not over powering. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks now and will definitely not go back. I have had no burning or staining on my clothes and now is the time to really give a new deodorant product a go, in extreme heat i’d be re-spraying several times a day but with this ... MoreWow! Fresh and fabulous

What a fabulous product! I’ve been using this for roughly 3 weeks now and I’m amazed. I have to admit I was a little cautious at first as other roll ins have always left white marks, failed completely or left me feeling yucky within a couple of hours. I have a pretty active lifestyle. When I’m not working in a school I’m walking with my little man, swimming or out on the rivers soaking up the sun or getting soaked. My skin takes a major hammering on a daily basis and deodorants have to withstand a lot. One of the biggest issues for me is constantly having to reapply to gain any protection. Not really practical when you’re halfway down a river with no pockets or washbag. This little, ergonomic stick is amazing. This really is a game changer for me. I can go out on a river for a full day’s hard padddling and get out the other end still feeling fresh and fab. I can go for a long walk with my toddler strapped to my back and not have yucky sweat patches on my clothing. I won’t be going back now. This will be going everywhere with me. So let the adventures continue with my trusty little stick in my bag.

At first I was a bit dubious about the fact it was a stick as they are quite old school, however, I found this product to be very good. In the past I’ve used deodorant sticks which left my skin quite sticky. This deodorant stick orange leave a tacky feeling. In fact you feel as though you haven’t actually used it apart from the fact it leaves the skin lovely and soft. I love that it doesn’t leave white spray marks on my tops too. The only negative thing for me was the fact that I love the unique Dove smell from their products but this didn’t have that strong smell which I love. Because of this though it does make it really good for sensitive skin as there’s no harsh chemicals or irritation. This is a perfect for taking in your hand luggage when flying or as a handbag deodorant. It also lasts longer than the small sprays you can get. It I love the fact that it contains a ¼ moisturising cream and smells clean and fresh. I’m already a devoted fan of the Dove Compressed deodorant spray, but having not tried the stick version, I was pleased to try this out. It has a 0% alcohol formula and is dermatologically tested, so has been great for sensitive skin like mine. There is no stinging sensation and thankfully no flaking from the stick. I haven’t had any white marks on clothing and leave it to soak in for a bit first. I initially thought it was hard to get the inner plastic top off, but if you rotate the bottom then it just pops off!
