I have been using Sal Suds since 1993. I have tried other fruit and vegetable soaps a few times--nothing is as good as this soap for me; even my husband likes it. I put just 1/4 tsp in a large bowl of lukewarm water and wash lettuce with a gentle swishing motion, rinse in pure water, trim the stem end thinly of the brown, then stand the lettuce in pure water for 1 hour. It perks up and gets fresh, bright, and crisp, keeps for 2 weeks! I wash all my produce with 1 tsp to half a sink of water for large items like watermelon or even just put a little in my hands, wet, scrub, and rinse. I wash all kinds of berries, lemons, limes, apples, grapes, tomatoes, squash, everything and rinse. Put the produce in fresh bags or containers and they keep well. I was in a bind, don't judge me, and I bought a competitors dish soap. I'm not going to name names but let's just say it's a HER. Am I washing dishes or am I outside on a camping trip? At least if you have do something as mundane as clean the house, why not imagine you're doing it in a forest? Also I live in a county with VERY hard water--so almost everything leaves water marks. Not this stuff! Honestly I'd buy it by the gallons if I could....oh wait, I do! And you can too!Seriously don't miss out on this stuff.

Excellent product, excellent customer service!
21 December 2021

I LOVE Sal Suds. I LOVE the pine scent. How do you go back to the caustic scents of Lysol and Pine Sol after Sal Suds?? I, of course, also love its versatility and cleaning power. And how much you can get out of it. A tablespoon for a 32-ounce spray bottle! Even if you make it a bit stronger, it still makes a TON!I bought a gallon through Amazon a while back and haven't finished it yet, but, partly because of excellent customer service (more below), I went ahead and bought another bottle of it during the Thanksgiving sale.I previously ordered 8 small bottles of the various scents of the regular Dr. Bronner's and one of the 8 came back with the seal misplaced. While fortunately the improperly sealed bottle did not cause leaks all over the package, I felt that it ... MoreI LOVE Sal Suds. I LOVE the pine scent. While fortunately the improperly sealed bottle did not cause leaks all over the package, I felt that it did compromise the longevity of the product, so I sent a note to customer service, but did not mention a replacement because I was a little concerned about the shipping and cost would be over the top for shipping me an 8-ounce bottle. But without prompting, they went ahead and told me they would send me a replacement, and the bottle arrive without issue,I rarely write a review. Rarely. But I felt compelled because, while this particular product is excellent, it was the company's customer service that pulled me over the edge. Thank you, Dr. Bronner's company. I do hope you check the sealing process for your products so you don't waste money in shipping replacements to people.P.S. The Sal Suds came solidified white in its bottle. From previous experience, I believe this happens in cold weather and will thaw out in warmer temps. Just thought I'd warn people.

Great product! Little goes a very long way!
10 February 2023

I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I have a toddler and all the chemicals when cleaning the house began killing me. I searched high and low and found Dr. Bronners. I fell in love with the peppermint scrub and the soaps. While reordering new products I ran across this cleaner, and boy am I happy I did. I’ve used this to clean my carpets and my carpets have never looked better. I’ve used it to wash dishes and this makes way more soap than the Dawn dish detergent i previously used. I’ve officially rid my house of all toxic products. I add fresh lemon and vinegar to this solution and I’m extremely satisfied. I used exactly as directed sometimes add my own razzle dazzle. I pray this stays the same. Going to stock up.

SAL SUDS BIODEGRADABLE CLEANER MILD BY DR. BORNNER’S
9 October 2022

This is a multifunctional all-purpose cleaner for all of your household & outside cleaning needs. This does the dishes, floors, laundry, hard & soft surfaces inside & outside. There are multiple Suggested Usages for this concentrated liquid cleaner provided by the Company. Even though it is a thin liquid type, you do not need a lot to get your cleanings done. There are minimal ingredients compared to other cleaning agents in the market now. It should be able to replace the multiple cleaning items that people think they still need. It smells nice using Essential Oils instead of chemical fragrances, so it is safer all the way around. I wish that there were larger bottle sizes to choose from & an autoship & save option. I highly recommend this product.

SO GOOD IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND
4 February 2023

i love it, i love it, i love it!!this is my first Dr Bronners purchase ever and i’m so happy to say they live up to the hype!! This product is amazing, so versatile and it has a lovely smell that’s not too powerful. As a cleaning agent, it gets the job done good and quick! cleans up grease and sticky substances without effort on my part. I love this mostly because of its many uses and i bought it so i can make detergent what with most commercial detergents containing formaldehyde, have not used it for that yet but i am looking forward to it.It also got to me within a day or two of ordering which was amazing i didn’t expect that! the only issue i had was my bottle, the lid had cracked open and product leaked out everywhere.

USER OF DR. BRONNERS NOW SAL SUDS FANATIC
14 January 2023

I am a professional house cleaner. I have more than 100 house cleanings under my belt (24 years old). Dr. Bronners is the best soap on planet earth. Sal suds somehow is twice as good. Dishes are shiner than ever and things like air friers spotless after using the cleaner. I’m in shock how well this stuff works. Should be noted that I use bronners and sal suds for every single use except for dog washing (I don’t have a dog). I even brush my teeth with the peppermint Castile soap. Please contact me if there is any interest in sponsoring a company in exchange for advertising to customers!

Wait…what! It cleans oil out of plastic!
29 March 2023

Oh my gosh! This cleans plastic containers…plastic! I purchased 4 bottles since it was on sale, and knowing it’s Dr. Bronner’s I felt confident that I would love it. I use this for a huge amount of things around my home. The real test was cleaning plastic containers without having to constantly add more soap, and it does it in one swoop. Not sure why my husband feels the need to have lots of oil leftover in containers. My previous dish detergent wasn’t cutting it, plus it was wasteful, but with Sal Suds they get squeaky clean on the first try. I wasn’t sure of the scent, but now I love that too. I will be purchasing by the gallon next time, and I would refer this to family and friends. This is a must for all homes.
