Sal Suds is probably my all-time favorite cleaning products - from its cleaning abilities to its scent. Plus, it is old fashioned “clean” and not full of unnecessarily harmful chemicals of today. I love it! I originally purchased a quart size to do miscellaneous cleaning chores (counters, floors, grill, etc). A quart goes a long way. I have always been happy with how thoroughly clean it got things. So I decided to try it out on my dishes. Since I go through dish soap so quickly (which translates into wasteful packaging and can really add up), I was thrilled I could purchase this in a gallon jug, in concentrate form! So I picked up a dish foaming spray bottle from Grove, added about 1/3 cup Sal Suds, and about 2 ½ to 3 cups of filtered water (proportions based on ... It not only gets my dishes squeaky clean, but it is also an excellent grease cutter! The product is amazing! I’m very happy with this amazing product and I feel it is a great value – with the bonus of an amazing Christmas tree scent that is perfect for year round use.

I've been using this soap base to make cleaning supplies, and dish soap for many years and I'm very pleased because it doesn't take much to get the level of clean I was accustomed to getting in store bought supplies for a fraction of the cost and I am in control of the additions to this product I use in my home and garden.I make dish soap, I mop my floors, clean my restroom, clean counters, windows, appliances. One thing i have noticed that kind of shocked me; I remember using store bought dish soap and having to cycle out wash cloths daily because of the way they's sour seemingly overnight. Some dish soaps would make the water goo-ee if I forgot to dump out the bowl of soapy water before days end. In the morning i would have some awful stuff that made me want to ... I cannot say for sure why (because I add destilled water, vinigar and essential oils to the dish soap) but i have yet to experience a dish colth that smells like it has mildew or "sour" even though I wash my dish cloths regularly, there are days I go more than a day on the same cloth, but out of habit its no more than 2 day, still i have yet to experience a sour dish cloth or that weird coagulated water if i let the dish water bowl go overnight without dumping. Im sure if you have ever used store bought soap you know what i mean, if not, smell your dish cloth and see what i mean for yourself.

I used Dr. Bronner's products for years. Then met my now husband who loved scented products and slowly went that direction. Started getting some issues with skin irritation and the like. Got to the point where it spread from my hands to my arms, check, back, legs, and even scalp. I knew what to do, switch back to Dr. Bronner's and I have looked back since. And the biggest difference was made when I switched out our laundry detergent for Sal Suds. Even changed out all the cleaning products, soaps, and everything in the house. Thank you, Dr. Bronner's, you saved me from the misery I was in. Anytime I can talk about your products to folks, I do and I've even had some converts...one person at a time.

I can't believe I've gone most of my life without knowing about Sal's Suds. I was browsing around whole foods in the natural cleaners section when I came across this cleaner. It looked interesting so I decided to give it a try. I started using it as an all purpose spray for wiping down counters, tables, etc. and it cleaned up messes effortlessly without leaving a film behind. I tried it on my bathroom mirror and was shocked when it didn't leave a single streak, meaning I could get rid of my glass cleaner. I then started using it in place of my usual dish washing liquid, and found it worked just as well. I slowly started replacing all the other cleaning products in my house with Sal's Suds. I then started using it in place of my usual dish washing liquid, and found it worked just as well. I slowly started replacing all the other cleaning products in my house with Sal's Suds. I use it as both toilet and shower cleaner, just adding vinegar to the solution. No more coughing on fumes when cleaning the bathroom. I use it to treat stains on both clothing and on upholstery/carpet and it works better than the actual stain fighting sprays. I even started adding it to my carpet and upholstery cleaning machines in place of solution and it works so well. I did try it as a laundry detergent but it didn't get odors out quite as well as my regular detergent so I just add it to loads that need a little extra cleaning power. I pretty much now only use this cleaner for everything instead of owning a bunch of different cleaning products. A little goes a long way so a bottle lasts quite a while, but I'm thinking about ordering the gallon site from this website since I use it so often. Please never stop making this amazing cleaner!
I was excited to try this product knowing:1) It's non-toxic and biodegradable and2) Multi-purpose!It works WONDERS for cleaning my stove top (as well as wiping down counters).I have loved it for laundry as well!! I don't add anything extra to my loads, just 1-2 TBs of Sal's Suds on a gentle cycle and they come out fresh everytime! It's also great for cleaning my toilet bowl!I am undecided about using it as dish soap still as I think Mrs. Meyer's might be just a little bit better at cutting grease, but truly no complaints! It's also great to bring camping!
I worked cleaning house for over 25 years . I found out quickly that I could not use the mainstream products because of adverse physical effects. I went through most of the healthier products always changing them until I discovered Dr Bronners Sal Suds . I have been using it for over Ten years now. I use it for dish soap , ( diluted with water) in a spray bottle. It cleans grease and oil very thoroughly. It has a nice smell. It rinses clean so easily without having to use a lot of water to rinse off. I use it for all my house cleaning. Works great on glass tables ( a light spray, wipe and no streaks). On floors, Everything! It is the most Awesome cleaning product ! Also using this concentrated liquid will save you lots of money by making your own refills .Thank you ... Sal Suds is the most remarkably amazing cleaning product, wonder solution, EVER!I am a soap and cleaning product aficionado and Sal is the BEST one out there! Biodegradable, diverse enough to be used on any surface which needs to be cleaned, and gentle enough that I use it to launder delicates daily! It does need to be diluted, but that characteristic adds to its desirability, My go to favorite 32 Oz bottle is longer lasting than other cleaning solutions and boy, it’s cleaning power is noticeably so much better!Sal Suds is THE BEST!Try it yourself and discover its super powers! You won’t regret it!
I've used Dr. Bronner's for years but not the sal suds. Then I recently realized that I'm much more allergic to fragrance than I realized. I always knew that fragrance caused headaches, itchy eyes, runny nose, etc. for me. But I've also been dealing with skin issues for a long time not realizing what was causing the constant itching and rashes. And my doctor just brushed me off when I tried to talk to them about it. I decided to try sal suds for my laundry and I'm amazed. I use 20 mL of sal suds and at least half a cup of baking soda in the wash and then wool dryer balls in the dryer. I could bury my face in all of my clean laundry and can actually breathe. Smells like it should - nothing. And it's coming out so clean! I haven't been able to get my partner to switch ... I have used Sal Suds for 25+ years and it is still one of my main cleansers. One off the biggest lessons I learned is Sal Suds is really concentrated and it takes such a small amount for any cleaning task. When cleaning a surface, like stainless steel as one example, it leaves a shine. I use Sal Suds to help clean my oven window. This products works for any cleaning project in the house, outside, and yes, great for car washing. One of my favorite aspect of Sal Suds is it has a true pine scent which I have never found in another product. Another is that there are NO additives, chemicals, preservatives, etc. in this product, it is good for the environment.I never plan to ever stop using Sal Suds
I have to be honest, I bought the 32 oz bottle probably 5 years ago after reading about it somewhere. I didn't really use it for anything at first, but it's shortly starting to replace all my cleaning products. I love using this stuff; it's cleaning power is amazing, and it works great with the hard water we have here. I used to be a real sucker for natural cleaning products with floral/essential oils, etc. They just don't work, though, or they leave some kind of sticky residue. This stuff is the only thing that cleans and leaves NO RESIDUE. You don't even have to rinse it. I used it cleaning the floors for the first time this weekend and it continues to blow my mind. Spotless residue floors with much less time and effort than it takes to use my steam mop, which I'm ...
