I have been buying these bottles since my daughter was born on May 2020 and let me tell you there has not been 1 bottle that has not leaked absolutely horrible and messy. Dr. Brown’s gave me this bottle to try and I have to say prior to this bottle, I was perfectly content using the standard bottle. After this test, I am a glass bottle convert. I was always a little afraid of using glass bottle if for no other reason then the maintenance of keeping them clean or not breaking them. My baby used this bottle exclusively during night time feedings, when she was more prone to sleep drinking. She usually has gas because feeds and moves around breaking her mouth seal. I found that she was taking in air making her gassy. After 3 night feedings with this bottle and a sharp reduction in her feeding fussiness, I told my husband, we’re buying some immediately. I highly recommend getting this bottle.

Dr. Browns gave me this in exchange for my honest review. Firstly, I’ve rarely used glass bottles in the past. So, plastic vs. glass. Ive learned this particular glass bottle is much easier to warm up and clean than the average plastic bottle. I love using scalding hot water to clean the bottles, and with glass you don’t have to worry about the plastic releasing unwanted chemicals. This bottle is overall recommended, and approved by my little one. It’s held up great and I’d love to transition to glass only bottles here forward. However, one downfall that it’s a bit heavier than plastic. Overall, excellent product with great benefits!

I received this product for free in exchange for leaving a review. As a first time mom, I'm always searching for baby products that will be best for my newborn. This bottle was amazing! I love how the milk had an even flow going into her mouth. She didn't have waddle of milk running around her mouth like I have seen most bottles do when babies are being feed. The best thing about the bottle for me, was it help with my child not experiencing colic. I have heard stories from mothers about having sleepless nights sharing their experiences when their child had colic. I do like that if I accidently leave milk in the bottle I know it will not absorb into the bottle since it is not plastic. I feel like it is cleaner and safer than plastic. I have gotten the plastic bottles in the past and some of them melted in the sterilizer but with this bottle I do not have to worry about that. The glass seems very strong so I am not too worried about it breaking although I know it may happen so I am more careful when cleaning and storing. The indentations on the side of the bottle also help with holding and getting a better grip on the bottle. Dr. Brown's gave me these bottles to try and I was so thankful. I have a newborn. He is just 2 months old, but I have had to substitute formula at times. I am just not producing enough on my own. These wide neck glass bottles from Dr. Brown's have been an absolute dream. My baby took to them right away. There was no latching mishaps at all. I love how easy they are to clean vs plastic bottles. I cannot stress how much easier life has been with these bottles. No fussing over whether they got clean, my worries about warming them up, and my baby seems to enjoy them. I have also noticed him being less gassy while using the wide neck glass bottles. I will never go back. Dr. Brown's bottles are definitely staying put in my household.
Occasionally leaks if not tightened properly, but plastic has the same issue. The vent system works great, but is susceptible to heat and pressure (milk gets sucked up the vent if milk is warm but milk not in the vent is cooling at room temp or fridge, or if your sweet husband overtightens the cap). In any case, we had fewer concerns washing and steaming glass bottles multiple times a day than we did with plastic, so glass was greatly preferred! However, after a full year of use and a run-in with a slippery plate, we finally chipped the rim of one of the bottles. We're expecting our second and wanted to replace the one we broke, but I can't find them in stock for less than $50 a set anywhere!! I really hope these are not discontinued by the manufacturer.
