Really good clay scoopable (I use the lavender coloured box)! Started using it about a year ago, in hopes of preventing tracking. Pieces of clay are larger so that whatever falls from kitty's feet are large enough to pick up, and yet does not hurt or bother my (really choosey-) kittie's pads! We're both happy! . . .and the litter granules don't become "dust" when he paws "covers", either.Give this a try, also if you have a hard-to-(litter-)train cat! There is a natural attractant in this litter -- when it's freshly changed, your cat may just push you aside to get in! 🫡😸

Best Cat Litter Ever

I've had cats for over 40 years and this is the BEST cat litter I have ever tried! As with any litter, you are going to have tracking and some mess, but there isn't as much with this litter. What I appreciate most from this product is there is NO SMELL. I currently live in a small, 600 sq. ft. apartment and you can't smell anything. And I only clean the box once a day. That alone makes this a perfect litter, in my opinion.

Best product I've found, and I've tried many. Clumps very well, least tracking of any litter I've found. I have many cats, and many litter boxes, and I've tried different litters in different boxes, and Dr. Elseys is the most used one. And unscented is best, again, tried against verious scented ones, which only really release scent into the air for an hour or so, then it's the same as unscented. If you clean your litterbox frequently, daily or hourly if needed, it won't smell, and less likely to have cats use other places instead of litter. Ditto for using unscented litter. Read the book "The Cat Whisperer" for details!! It works!!

Clean Tracks

I have six indoor cats. We’ve been buying Dr. Elsey’s for years. We alternative between this and the Ultra version (blue). I can say this version DOES track less. I notice significantly less litter on the floor when I use it. It clumps hard, but I also feel like it has to be replaced faster than Ultra. Being larger granules, it seems less dusty than other litters.

Good litter, difficult container

This is really nice litter. It's not sharp, as some litter that I've had. In other words, if you step on some on a hard floor, it doesn't hurt. I think that is comfortable for the cats, too. Odor control is OK. There's almost no dust.The bag is awful. It's hard to handle, and not recyclable. It's ugly to store, too. I may buy a container to pour

It's Cat Litter

It does the job. However, the low tracking claim is not very true. I only have one cat, and there was already a good amount of litter in front of her box after a day of use. It definitely clumps, but could do just a bit more. Otherwise, it's just an okay cat litter.

Not quite what I needed, but close!

I tried this litter for a cheaper option and because my old litter for some reason wasn't clumping as well anymore (switched from Boxiecat, for reference). I brought my cats to the vet because I thought something was wrong with them -- litter wasn't clumping and it would all just stick to the bottom of the pan in a mess. Cats turned out to be fine, so I changed the litter. Dr. Elsey didn't help with clumping either, but I did notice significantly less tracking! I do seem to be going through more litter, too. 2x 20lb boxes for two cats and two automatic litter boxes barely lasted two weeks. I would have hoped for 3 weeks at a minimum. Sometimes good, sometimes dusty and sandy

Inconsistent. Sometimes the bag has a good number of larger pieces of litter. Other times it is very fine and dusty. It is very inconsistent. I have resorted to sifting the litter to reduce the amount of dust and smaller grains

best litter you can find! been using it for years, as long as you keep it as deep as it instructs the of clumps perfectly, clumps never break or stick to bottom or side. tracks a little bit less than others, just got a litter mat. definitely helps to buy a metal scoop, found an amazing one that makes sifting so much easier. definitely recommend.
