I own six pair of Dr Martens different styles and love Dr Martens. I ordered this style. It was too short and very stiff. I returned it right away as I find it a defective fit it may just be the pair I received and asked not to be charged the $7 return fee. They don’t care and charged it anyway. I removed me from their mailing list and will only buy In store now that I can try them on. I wear my other Dr Martens everyday working as a caregiver they are most comfortable shoes in the world. I bought my first three pair in a London Store and I was hooked never buy another brand.

When I buy a pair of shoes, I want them to be comfortable from the start. I don’t like shoes that require you to be uncomfortable for a while and that is the situation with these shoes. I wear size 10 shoes. I ordered these shoes in size 10. My feet could not get in; even with a shoe spoon. One reason could be that the leather is too rigid. Another could be that you need to wear one size bigger than what you usually wear. The brand name is reassuring but ultimately it is a matter of comfort.

Very high quality shoes. They take 2 weeks or so the wear in, but once this is done they are a joy to wear. Extremely comfortable, sturdy and feel like they will last a very long time with proper care. They are a little more pointed at the end than a traditional doc marten, giving them a slightly more formal/business look. The full black adds to this. They are also suited for someone with a slightly more narrow foot, so think about going a size up if you have a wide foot or think about opting for a different style. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a smart shoes.
