I purchased my first ever pair of shoes from Dr Martens as I wanted a good quality, sturdy work shoe for daily wear. I'm delighted with my 1461 Virginia Leather Oxford shoes. They are comfortable and are just the job for work. I was expecting to need a bedding in period but they have been comfortable from the outset. Very pleased customer and will be looking to buy more Dr Marten products

I was a bit hesitant about buying from the hut as I hadn’t heard of them before and didn’t want to not get the original but they are the same and perfect!! I would 100% buy from them again and fully recommend!! If you are hesitant BUY THEM! The quality is perfect and amazing. I have not had any faults at all and although I had one blister after wearing them for a week they have fully broken in and are super comfy! Very happy customer fully recommend these shoes and the website. If you are hesitant - PLEASE BUY YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! :)

I LOVE these shoes. Wore them for the first time today for work and no issues- so comfy! They look absolutely fantastic and I feel smart wearing them for work but with some personality wearing these Docs!The Virginia version of these shoes is particularly soft compared to the others I tried on in store too. I sized down half a size which was perfect for me. There are different colour laces too which I only considered when I saw in store so brought the classic brown and yellow ones. I hope these will last me a long time, they certainly feel like a quality pair of shoes you'd expect from Dr Martens!

Got it for my teenage as a school shoes. She found them very comfortable right away and didn’t have to wear them in, no blisters or pain. Shoes seems durable and well made so far, good style and quality. Hopefully it will last for a long time without major issues. Overall, very happy with the purchase and planning to get a second pair for her.
I brought these shoes for my daughters birthday as she had been saying they would be good for work . She love Dms, and normally wears the boots but can’t wear them at work . As always they are excellent quality and the leather on these looked really smart and seems slightly softer than some of the more heavy duty boots. They were a great fit and my daughter was really happy, she loved the shoes and is looking forward to wearing them.
I purchased a size 6 in this shoe at the end of last year, the size 6 fit but as I’m on my feet all day I needed to allow for thick socks, foot swell etc. I chose to sell these privately and ordered a pair of size 7. When they arrived they were the hard leather instead of the soft leather (purchased from a different shoe store) I tried to break them in but the crease across the toe was digging in and making them unbearable to wear. I then ordered the 6.5 in the soft leather, they arrived quickly and when I got them out of the box they looked tiny. I thought maybe it was just the way they looked so I checked the box and label and both said 6.5. However, when it came to trying them on I couldn’t even get my feet in them. They are more like a size 4 or 5. I have ... I love my new shoes! I tried these shoes in the smooth leather, in women's and the unisex size. One was too small and the other too big. These are so comfy and I even like the look of this leather more. I feel Dr. Martens Euro sizing translates to a whole size larger than US shoes sizes. I'm usually a US 9 and bought these in a size 8 as well as my other Docs. Shipping was quick too!
Received these a few of days and have been wearing them daily since then. I already have some of the Chelsea style boots and like them these were immediately comfortable, really important being a 65 yr old woman, but also my daughter told me I look really cool! Looking forward to considering some sandals for the summer (I’ve had them in the past) and maybe some laced boots for the winter. We will see
Beautiful Dr. Martens shoes were delivered to me, only in children's size. I always order UK4 size and they always fit like a glove. This time the order was very important to me because I need these shoes for a very important trip and here, to my disappointment, shoes for the child have arrived. There is no chance that the new ones will arrive on time. On top of that, I had to pay for the return. I'm very disappointed and upset.

Unfortunately I ordered 41 (and need 41,5/42).1461 VIRGINIA LEATHER SHOES seems true size:I tired FISH EYE 41 (it runs larger) and fit prefect, but the hard leather was uncomfortable. That's why I confused ordering 1461 VIRGINIA LEATHER size 41.For winter I wear tall boots with natural leather.
