These Docs are perfect. The leather is strong but supple. They’re easy to wear-no rubbing. Great styling that’s typical DM but understated. I have other models but the mono is my favourite. They are so universal. Can be dressed up with trousers or down with jeans. Skirts long & short look great too! The size fit is spot on. Easy to slide your foot in with the side gussets. Classic Chelsea boot that oozes appeal. One of my best DM purchases for sure.. I’m super happy with them.

Boots are great. I really like the style and the all black colour, however I was not able to get my feet in them. Ordered half a size up as a saw reviews to say they were small, but I couldn’t get past the opening. It was so small and very inflexible. I think I would have to really stretch the elastic to breaking point just to get my feet in them. Look really cool but just can’t wear them.

I have been making due for years with lower end chelsea and chukka boots. I finally decided to pull the trigger on these and had to wait until the full black option was available. I LOVE THESE! I wear them to work with slacks and a dress shirt and also with Jeans and a T shirt. Extremely comfortable, quick to break in. Look amazing and come with the Dr. Martens quality they are known for.

Bought these as I needed a new pair of boots to wear to work, needed them to be comfortable for everyday use and these did not disappoint. Although I am still breaking them in, they are already my favourite pair of boots that I own. The black stitching makes these better suited to an office environment and the comfortable sole makes them brilliant for everyday wear. They felt like they'd be small when I first put them on but with a little effort I'm now able to put them on and wear them comfortably even with my wide feet!You will not regret getting a pair of these boots.

However, I was sceptical because I have wide feet with a high instep, so boots that aren't specifically wide fit are usually a problem for me. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the boots were a great fit for the width of my feet. The high instep was a bit more of an issue - just took a bit longer wearing them on and off until they became less of an event to get on and off my feet and for my feet to feel comfortable in the boot for a long period of time. Like others have said they are extremely hard to put on when they first arrive but I’m hoping they will soften as I wear them more - having worn DM shoes for work for the best part of 30 years I’m sure they will! Love the style of the boot (all black without the yellow stitching) and think these will become my new favourites alongside my other knee high DM boots that they unfortunately don’t make anymore. Perfect sizing too. Would definitely recommend.
Nice solid boots with a nice tread. Little bit tight to get on initially but the balsam shoe protecter softened them overnight, great little product. Love the fact that you can have black stitching so it's not so obvious they are Dr Martens but who wouldn't want to show them off and promote the brand. Very comfortable so far and they have that little spring in your step. They may bit a bit more cost wise but well worth it.
I love the look of my DM Chelsea boots but had real problems with the sizing. The size 7s were too small but the 8s were massive. A half size would have been great but I loved the boots so much I paid an extra tenner for insoles so the 8s didn’t seem so huge. Now I am in the process of wearing them in as they are a bit stiff. Can’t wait for that moment when they are super comfy as all my previous DMs have become…

I had been looking for an alternative to Bludstones and have always loved my classic Doc combat boots and decided to give these a try.Despite getting my usual size, they are massive on me – I purchased an insole and with this and thick socks, they fit comfortably. Having worn Docs before, I was expecting to have to break in these boots as well. It typically takes me a couple of long, uncomfortable walks to break in Docs and then everything is fine. I have owned these boots for almost a year now and cannot walk to the corner store without getting bloody feet (honestly, I have destroyed several pairs of socks trying to break these in). Very disappointed. Bought a new pair to replace worn out same design. No air ware logo on loops and internally now black instead of brown lining. Soles now also black. They have really dumbed them down to cut costs presumably. That is a pity as they are not cheap and already paying a premium for the name.Purchased same size as before but exhausting fight to get them on, but hopefully they will stretch once worn in.
