Bought this a month ago, received it last week. Quite disappointing as it didn’t look like the photo at all. In the photo the shoe had a glossy finish, consistent with the ones of the same model that I saw in the physical store. However, the one that was delivered to me had a dull matte finish, leading me to believe that it was a completely different variant from the one represented in the product photos on asos.

First of all, it is important that you get the right size for this shoe to work for you. Try before you buy! If fitted correctly, they are extremely comfortable, albeit quite tight to slide your foot into initially but stick with it and break them in gently by wearing them indoors first (like any docs). The quality of these shoes is very good. There has been lots of discussion about Made in England v Made in Vietnam/Thailand/China. Mine were made in Vietnam and the quality is spot on and I really can't tell the difference in quality between these and my Made in England docs. These shoes are perfect and exactly what I was looking for! They do, as other reviews have mentioned, run big. I typically wear a 10.5 in women's shoes or a 41 euro. When I first ordered them in a 10 they were wayyyy too big, returned them for a 9 which fit perfect. The sole is a little cushier than some of my other dr. Martens so breaking them in was only difficult for the first couple wears. I've been wearing them almost every day for about a month of sloppy winter weather and they still look great. I was a little worried about the tassels getting bent out of shape or snapping off but they look like new!
