I was waiting for these to go on sale for so long. Dove are always great but I wanted something higher than my calf. I was skeptical because I have a bigger calf (I believe 14 inches) and these boots are not a problem for me. Even without adjusting the laces they fit my calves.

Wonderfully comfortable from the first moment - just like walking on air(wair). I'd need to get up an hour earlier if the super strong zips weren't there, enabling easy entry, and of course exit; excellent feature. The longest laces known to man/woman/other, enabling avievement of a perfect fit, even on my scrawny little calves. A wonderfully entertaining time was spent achieving this, by careful adjustment of lacing. My warm and cosy feet and legs say a huge 'thank you' to Dr. Martens.

I love these boots!The laces are a bit too long, but I am sure I can get some shorter ones!The leather is soft. They actually fit my calves snugly rather than leaving a void below as I have long legs. They are just great boots and I wish I had bought them when I first saw them!

This is my first Docs. I was wary of all the reviews that said I needed to break in my boots, so I kept it in my cart for months. Winter came and I bit the bullet and bought it and I have not looked back. This boot is soo comfortable. The leather is soft and there is no need to break it in. There is also no chafing as itās a knee high. I have been in my boots over 8 hours one day and there was no pain afterwards. A Definite must buy if you have been eyeing this boot! I got a size 8.I usually wear a 8 1/2 wide and sized down after reading the reviews and trying on in stores. Great boot!
Look fabulous, super comfy from the word go. First wear was a day out visiting a college - a lot of walking. More comfortable than some of the boots Iāve owned a while, and lots of comments about how great they looked. Laces no problem because thereās a side zip so quick on and off. Winner all round.If there was a brown version Iād buy them now too š
These boots are perfect. They make me feel both badass and put together. They are combat boots but also look enough like riding boots to be dressed up. The laces allow the boots to be tight but still comfortable for all leg sizes (perfect for me because it is hard to find knee high boots that donāt look baggy). They are super comfortable and there was no break in time like with most docs. They also came with a pair of tall socks which were pretty nicely made.I will say, I think they run a little small. I ordered the same size as my other 2 docs (size 7) but these boots felt slightly tighter on the feet - I donāt think they are quite as wide as their normal combat boots or their Chelsea boots. The leather was soft, it was great to have a zipper and not have to mess with all the laces. But the structural integrity that keep your feet from getting tired is gone from the foot bed. The sole bends in half despite the fact that it is thick rubber. Nothing makes your feet more tired than bending where your feet are not supposed to bend. I had to return them even though I really wanted them. Please get back to quality! Get back to what made your boots great for people who worked on their feet all day.
My feet are 8.5. Have a long toe, itās weird, from my mom who is French. Iām happy with both. 8 fits perfectly for thigh high Tights. At first I freaked they are snug. But I wore around house for several hours a day for several weeks. These are designated for Indoor wear. 9 fits perfectly with Thick Thigh Highs. Wore immediately on several 3 mile pavement hikes, puddle stomping and they exceeded my wildest expectations. Super Sexy.
