Well made and look great. Yeah the leather scuffs and shows marks but that is part of the “look”. Get some of the balsam to smooth that back out, but personally I like the “lived in” look of them.I normally buy a UK size 11 but these required an insole to fit properly! They are about a half size too big. Bought the genuine Doc Martin cushioned insole n heel grips and the fit is now great.I am sick of buying expensive shoes that last 10 weeks. I am a teacher on my feet all day. Hopefully these will last a bit better.

I absolutely love Dr Martens shoes, I have five pairs. I’ve always bout a size 10 as that is my shoe size and I’ve always known them to rub a little during the process of breaking them in but these shoes have absolutely wrecked my feet, I’m still wearing them on the odd day to work in hopes that they’ll be less agonising to wear but I have patches of skin missing the size of a 50 pence coin on the back of both feet. I bought special blister plasters to wear after the first day using them but the shoes have even put a hole through them! I do love these shoes but my god, they need a warning.

Owned 8 pairs of Hazeldons in the past. Apparently they've been discontinued. Bought these Crazy Horse as replacements. The size fits. These "creak" in the toe. The leather is sharp around the ankles and sharply rubs against the Achilles tendons. The toe box is narrower not as comfortable as the Hazeldons. The sole is not as cushioned. Would have returned them, but put a minor scuff in one. They now reside in the closet and are overlooked in favor of a more comfortable shoe. The quality isn't as good either. After spending $120, I'm sorely disappointed.

1) I forgot about the break in required, especially with this type of upper heel trim (none), but I'm beyond that period now.2) Left shoe sole to insole? squeak from day one and didn't go away. Sounded like the layers weren't bonded correctly. Yesterday I had to poke several holes in the insole to inject oil to stop it. Disappointed.
These shoes fit well and are a nice color. They are comfortable. But these shoes are squeaky!! The squeak comes from the contact with the floor. I’m hoping they will quiet after a good amount of walking. But they are driving me crazy right now. I’ve walked down a hallway and people have commented on my squeaky shoes.
For me these felt like men's shoes big and wide. There was know delicateness about themI am a size five in shoes and needed them for workI don't have big wide feet. The length of the shoe it fine it just the wideness of them .I don't have tiny feet just normal feetI have gone for the flat Virginia shoe in black it is a pity there are no other colours than just pink and black in that range.Else I would have brought another another pair
Gave them to my highschooler for Christmas. He loves them. Perfect middle ground between his need to wear comfortable shoes (ie sneakers) and my need to have him expand his wardrobe. They look great and he says they broke in quickly. Thanks!
This is my first ever pair of DMs. I wanted a shoe that was leather, sturdy, with a decent and grippy sole, that is smart enough to be worn in the office but rugged enough to survive work’s storage area, with lots of box lifting and lots of grubbing about on the floor.These fit the bill perfectly and have the added advantage of being universally admired by all my friends.I’ve worn them for just under a week. They’re comfy from the get-go, but I’m hoping the leather creak will stop soon!
These shoes are just as comfortable as I remember them 30 years ago. They are really well made and super comfy. After breaking them in for a few days. I have already bought another pair to supplement this one. Great product.
Style- great: classic Dr Martens.Websites shows its a true size. Then i tried it on when i receive it. Light brown line appeared(like wrinkles)as soon as i bended toes and i found out that the condition for returning should be like before unboxing on the return policy paper. So i put 2 heel pads on, but still big.
