Like all Dr. Martens products these need breaking in but is well worth it. So cute and comfortable, especially for those with wide toes.I bought these as a quality close-toed shoe to wear during Sydney's cursed wet summers.I expected to need to wear these in on the back of the heel (which was accurate) but a surprise has been rubbing on the underside of my ankles - just something to keep in mind if you're bony like me.

Lovely shoes, strong leather. Four star because they felt too hard and difficult to break in. I bought them for work as I work 12hr shifts. First day my feet were on fire, also the back was rubbing. I bought these because of the reviews, came back for reviews and bumped into one that mentioned a balm to soften the leather. Bought the balm and it worked wonders as it took me 3 applications to soften the shoes I was doing it twice a day. They are now comfy that I wear them to work without a problem. This is my second pair of Docs and I wish I had known about the balm earlier.

Awesome super cute shoes that make you feel like the coolest person wherever you are. Very comfortable but do need a bit of a thicker sock because the heel rubs a little bit, although I’ve only worn them twice so far and I’m sure they will loosen up a bit. Overall excellent quality and can be styled so many different ways. I got a compliment from a stranger within 5 minutes of wearing them in public.

Perfect in every way!! This is now my 6th pair of Docs and they are stylish, very comfortable and perfect for every occasion! I dress up, I dress down but either way it’s my Docs that are always on my feet!! No other shoes/boots come close! Trouble is, I think I’m becoming addicted because they make me feel fabulous whatever I’m doing!! Xx
Have been meaning to buy these for a while and they're well worth the wait.The size is perfect (despite other reviews commening they run small). I'm a standard size 7 and they fit great. The leather is quite tough (as expected) but great quality. They were comfortable from first wear and need only a little breaking in. Great classic style that goes with all outfits and look great.
I haven't been able to find the exact shoe I meant. I bought a pair in Oxford and I guess they are delisted now. I bought these shows because I was expecting soft leather.They aren't soft. I like them, but reckon it will take 6 months of short-term wearing to break them in. They're great shoes, I guess I'm just disappointed because I wanted shoes the same as before. I'm a huge DM fan, but maybe a lot older than most of you fans. Even so, I really don't think wearing your shoes should be painful and cut into your ankles. I don't buy them because they're a statement, but because my last pair was so awesomely comfortable. The buckle fell off after 3 wear. Extremely disappointing. You buy Dr Martens for the quality but the rivet just gave out. I contacted Dr Martens because though I live in the UK, I had taken them when I had moved abroad hoping that the Dr Martens quality would see me through. Not made like they used to be and they obviously are looking to cash in on the resurgence of popularity. What a let down.
The cutetest Work shoe I have ever bought. Been a DMs fan for a long long time - and thought the collection should be extended to my work wardrobe :)These did not disappoint - comfy enough for 11.5 hour shift, where I'm on my feet all day, and funky enough to match my funky socks!I've wanted these for a long time, yes they are expensive, but I can justify that by knowing I'm still actively using a 20 year old pair of oxblood DMs - and they are like foot gloves, so there is no reason why these shouldn't follow suit.If like me, you need cute and practical in your life - these are literally the answer - stop over thinking and just buy them, you'll be glad you did ;)Worth noting I'm an 8 in DM shoes and a 7 in boots - so some trial and error may be required.
Not my first pair of Docs, but absolutely my new favorite style!I had never ordered from the Dr. Martens website before, and let me just say I was absolutely blown away that I received them the very next day! Did not request overnight shipping. It is important to me to mention this because in a world where Amazon is the leading online retailer, they totally kept up with that standard.The shoe itself is everything I was looking for aesthetically. Being a nurse I needed a comfy, smart but hard wearing pair of shoes and after reading other reviews decided to buy a pair of these Mary Jane’s.They arrived very quickly, are true to size and look great. I love the cross bar design which gives them a feminine look but also has the classic DM design.I was a little skeptical at first as the leather did seem a little hard as to if they would rub. I first wore them for an 8 hour shift and they were so comfy. I have had them for a few weeks now and can wear them all day.They are easy to take care of, I have the DM wax and put this on before I first wore them outside.Some of my colleagues have also commented now nice they look and bought a pair. Would highly recommend this range of shoe.
