Bought this with my DMs, highly recommend - completely odourless and without smell, easy to use and good value. First time I cleaned them they came up like new and should keep my DMs looking good and the right colour.The waterproof spray worked brilliantly and really showed when I went walking across wet grass.Highly recommend, seems like it will last a while. Good investment.

Easy to use, clear instructions. They made my docs look lovely and shiny and you could see the quality of the kit is very good as it dried the protective layer.I have no worries about going out in the British weather with my docs now, knowing both my feet and the docs are well protected.When they need a refresh there’s plenty in the kit to have many uses because you only need a little bit. Definitely worth the money for the added protection and care for years to come.

I've used the Wonder Balsam before and had been pleased with the results but the original can I bought had dried out so I decided to get the smaller can that came with this set. I was disappointed that it didn't come with the sponge the large can had in it, but the fiber cloth seems to do the job just fine. I also sprayed the waterproofing stuff on my shoes, but I don't know how well it works because it rains so little here in Southern California. If you are just looking for the Wonder Balsam, I would recommend to just get the larger can instead of this whole set.

As most doc martens owners know, these boots need breaking in. I got some full size 1460 I think is the number boot. The noise from the new leather alone was like listening to SpongeBob walk a 5k. After a proper work down with the tools in this kit my boots are more flexible, supple, and the leather looks brighter and healthy. (unhealthy leather is obvious and sad). As advertised. Love this company, love these boots. Keep it coming
So pleased with my purchase, came quickly and packaged really well. I have used the different oils, balm and sprays and cloths on my patent boots as well as my regular leather boots too. Not sure they’ve been this shiny since the day I bought them!I have been worried about them creasing, especially the coloured boots, so I’m impressed with the items that I have purchased so far. I love all my Dr Martens and want to ensure I take the very best care of them! They are the best fitting shoes over ever had.
Generally good, but a few things to note that I wish I had known before using the products:- The Wonder Balsam made the leather on my Berman boots shiny, which is a shame as I liked the matt look of the leather on those. With a sponge and a lot of rubbing, it's better now, and I hope the original matt finish will return over time - but that remains to be seen.- If the Ultra Protector Spray leaves larger visible droplets on the surface of where it is being applied and these are left to dry, it will leave marks (on leather at least) that are hard to get rid of. Wiping away the droplets with just your finger when still wet will prevent marks. I used to think kits like this are just unnecessary add-ons. Recently, I’ve seen the light, I suppose you could say. In the past year, I’ve purchased at least five pairs of docs, and that adds up financially. I want to protect my investment because I know these shoes will last me years if I treat them well. This kit has covered all five pairs once with plenty of product left to buff, polish, and protect more as needed. It hurt a little when I added this to my already full shopping cart, but I’m glad I did it for protecting my shoes in the long run. No regrets.
This shoe care kit contains everything I need! I would have loved a little card with instructions on how to use the three together - but this can be found in the back of the items. Shipping was great, size seems decent for the money paid. Cloth was good quality, as we other products. This will be really helpful to keep my docs in good order and I think should be promoted more when you buy a pair.
The shoecare kit is a big improvement on just the balm, which I have used previously. I try to keep my boots well nutured to avoid any splits in the uppers. The kit will help me enjoy my boots for longer I think and provide a far better solution than just the balm. I tried beeswax but think this kit is better. The cloth makes it easy to polish the boots and achieve a real shine . To my mind it is a quality product and I would buy another kit when required.
The wonder balsam is a different colour to the stuff they used to sell in the silver tin. I’ve tried to find out if they’ve changed the ingredients as the newer balsam is yellowish where as the older stuff they used to sell was white but haven’t gotten an answer. I haven’t used it yet as I’ve still got my balsam from 10 years ago as I brought a big tin and a little goes a lot way. The cloth is nice but it would have been handy to come with washing instructions.
