The packaging was minimal and very appealing upon first opening. The design of the bottle is simple and easy to use with a twist-to-lock feature which is great for traveling. After using this for a few weeks, I noticed my skin was noticeably softer with a nice glow. I particularly love the scent as it has this earthy smell that's not too overpowering or fragrant. I use this in the morning as well as in the evening. It works great under your makeup, especially if you have concerns about dry skin. I especially like wearing it alone because it gives your skin a natural, dewy glow. I highly recommend this product for people who have normal to dry skin. I could see this being too much for someone with oily skin though.

I have pretty severe "spider veins" on my face - particularly on my cheeks, nostrils, and under eyes. This product line (Dr. Weil Mega-Mushroom) is the only thing I've found that has reduced the visibility of these red/purple/blue veins on my face. While there is no true topical treatment for telangiectasia (only guaranteed method to remove involves laser or other dermatological procedures), I absolutely notice a difference in the severity of color and extent of vein appearance. I also find that the products are a great preventative measure. I have used Mega-Mushroom products on and off probably since 2016, and now I exclusively use this line on my face.

I love this weightless lotion. I don't like to feel weighed down by my moisturizer. This is perfect for everyday use in my mostly hot humid climate. Feels great under my light tinted moisturizer and makes the little bit of concealer I use go on smoothly. Even though it's lightweight, it packs a punch in moisture. Smells great too...very earthy. Love it!

I saw Mushroom and thought I would hate this but it honestly smells like Lavender. I am adding 2 photos one to show the product and one to show the bottle so you can find the correct one. It really is a great product and one I am totally thinking about keeping in my regiment. I have used a lot of moisturizers being that I am 42 years old and love to try new skincare and this is one of my top 4. It's a light moisturizer that is not greasy in the least. This weightless "emulsion," which I received as a complimentary gift with my last order a few months ago, is the exception. I like that this is lightweight, but it doesn't do much to control redness; the original "soothing face lotion" is much more effective for me. Also, it seems to be affecting the texture of my skin. Not exactly breaking out, but my face isn't as smooth as it normally is. Finally, like others, I'm not a fan of the scent. On the other hand, this actually worked for me. My nostril area and my chin (which is the only area I have breakouts) always tend to be flaky, but are now smooth and hydrated thanks to the Mega Mushroom Lotion. A week before I tested the lotion, I used a glycolic acid cream to exfoliate, so I was the flakiest face on earth, and the Mega Mushroom Lotion really helped in bringing back the smoothness. I found it to be best used (10-20 minutes) after a glycolic cream to act as a sort of barrier of protection when the acid does its magic.It truly does hydrate the skin. It does hydrate my skin well. Nowadays, I prefer it as a follow-up to mud masks and acids because of the soothing this brings.
Every time I grab for the product, I get a little hesitant because of the smell. It lingers for quite some time in my opinion. I have tried this for two weeks and surprisingly it has taken away the redness on my skin and made a smooth canvas. No product ever made my skin feel like that in such a short period. So it does make me think what's in this serum. I don't know if this stuff is good for me because of the powerful smell but will likely finish this bottle plus the lotion.
I've used the MM products for many years and was very disappointed when the MM Skin Relief Soothing Face Lotion disappeared. I called customer service and was told that it was replaced with this emulsion lotion. Not even close. It doesn't really absorb into your skin. It's hard to put makeup on a sticky surface. I use it at night sometimes and remarkably it slides off my face when I wash it in the morning. Perhaps this is the "barrier" feature? Please bring back the soothing lotion! It was lightweight, absorbed beautifully and helped with redness. I'm lost without it.
First i love the fragrance, it's very soothing and relaxing, therapy for the nose. Second it has made my skin right of the bat , smoother and softer. I have no problems with it absorbing in within just a moment. It feels great, best product i have ever found, and i have been a searcher and spender on many products. Thank goodness i looked up products with mushrooms in it, because i knew of their importance and sustainability. I am ecstatic over these products so far, i have the micellular water cleanser and it's fantastic as well. No dry or tight feeling after using these products. When Origins stopped making my favorite moisturizer, I bought this one without much thought. "Weightless" seemed like a nice, light moisturizer, but I should have looked more carefully at what "deeply hydrating" means. It's an oily product. Not for me. My face felt wet for about an hour, very uncomfortable. Maybe this'll produce a glow for someone else. For me, it was more like a flop sweat. I had no trouble returning (my first return!).
