I bought this mini pick axe a a joke present for my wife to help me in a woodland i manage. But ended up buying her another as this ones mine and i love it. Great in small spaces and rips through rough stoney ground quickly.

The draper head is drop forged not cast, so is much stronger. Head is only 400 gram weigh so heavy enough for job without becoming too tiring for the arm or to carry. Shaft is one piece solid fibreglass so strong but wish grip was more padded or hand contoured but none of the competitors are either. Overall it is by far the best of its type, especially at this price it cant be beaten.

I love this product, I use it to break up the ground at my allotment and has made light work of the heavy clay soil. Has become one of my most used gardening tools.
Lightweight, seems strong. I have used it for planting in the garden during the dry spell, made light work of the concrete hard ground after weeks of dry weather. Recommended.

Terrific tool, makes diggingwhorls for planting shrubs an easy and quick process, even in soil with lots of existing roots, It saved me a lot of time and hassle when planting a long hedge.
I'd never heard of or seen this tool before but when I google " best tool to get rid of ivy", this came up! It is perfect for digging up ivy roots and I've been using it to break up compacted soil and to dig out tree/ shrub roots and other stubborn weeds and to get out bramble roots! It is really robust but still light enough for an almost 70 year old woman to wield!!! Very pleased with it and have recommended it to family and friends!
