Great piece of kit but a bit shoddily made. Good functionality and parts are readily available. The belt part of the machine is the problem area which brings its performance rating down to 3 starts but overall at this price point i can't complain.

When I unpacked this item I was impressed at the quality of the packing, however this change to disappointment on further inspection . Paint quality is very poor with runs and drips on the body of the machine, upon mounting and testing the grinder, wheel run-out was in the order of 2 millimetres. Upon removing cover and inspecting flange washers they were very thin and distorted . I swapped the inner flange for one off my ancient B&D grinder (about four times thicker material ) the run out reduced to 0.05 millimetres. Much less vibration ! Overall for the price it's acceptable but they should be better inspection !

Overall very pleased with this product. Only minor criticism is that the on/off buttons are not great quality and I sometimes have to push the on button a few times for it to stay on. Otherwise vibration free and plenty powerful enough for home use.

Bought a little while ago now and does the job well. Not very robust construction and limited flexibility to change support angles. But for the money it does everything it says on the tin!

Versatile with the grinding wheel and sanding belt. Powerful enough to prevent stalling. The light is a bit dim, I might see if an led bulb is available.

Build quality not good, drawer wouldnt open, one of the rubber feet came off. Sander and grinder both have to go at same time, not one or the other.
I bought this as a present for my dad for Christmas whilst it was on offer at a good price. He’s not used it yet as it’s not Christmas but it seems to be ok from first appearances.
I bought a bench grinder that was coming direct from supplier. I was sent an email from Robert dyas to say it had been delivered to a local shop, there was a tracking number but no deliverer name. After repeatedly emailing and calling to try and find out who had delivered the item Robert dyas were unable to tell me. In the end I went through every delivery company with the tracking number provided and found out it was DPD. when I picked it up from the shop it had already been there for a week! I would like to add that when I was unable to contact Robert Dyas online the Birmingham store were very helpful.
