It is extremely difficult to see/read the temperature . There is no background contrast so you have to pick it up and look at it only inches from your eyes on order to eat it accurately .The temperature does seem to be accurate , it is just too hard to read .

I purchased this for my daughters first baby and realised how easy it wouldve been had this been around to use with my own kids 34 years ago! When you are someone who likes to have a hot shower or a hot bath, filling the tub can be a guessing game with the water being a little bit too hot, or a little bit to cool, especially if youve been stressed or sleep deprived. This little gadget keeps the little one within the safe limits of what the water temperature should be. Definitely worth purchasing.

Found that this thermometer wasnt accurate, checked it against a body temperature thermometer and was off by 2 degrees or so
This Dreambaby Bath thermometer relieves my stress and worry about putting my baby into a bath with the water being too hot for my baby's sensitive skin. All I have to do is place it in the tub and the thermometer shows me the temperature of the water. This ensures that I will never unknowingly burn my baby and that is a huge concern for me. I can't read an accurate temperature on this thermometer because of the way it is labeled. When I read the reviews on it I thought they meant they couldn't see the line going up. The temperatures labeled on it would be good if they were in the right position with the lines. It just doesn't make sense to me so it does me no good. I got a digital duck to replace this because I have to have something reliable to know that the temperature is good due to nerve issues not allowing me to feel temperature correctly. I suppose it would be okay if you just go by the colors to know if it's too hot or too cold but my baby has a small range he likes the temperature at and this doesn't allow me to read the exact temperature because I don't understand the way it's labeled. This product works as it's supposed to. Reads temp fast and easy. Wish it had a suction cup on the back so it could be hung up in the bath out of reach of children. This product does it's job. Works great.
