I needed to extend a Dreambaby gate I had bought second hand. Extension works well. The gate itself I am really impressed with, well made and substantial. Using it to keep dogs in a certain area within my home.

My first dream baby gate I got 3 years ago. I have an in home daycare and it was the perfect gate for my stairs. Then I needed a gate for my craft room. (Too many choking hazards for the little ones crawling around.) The first gate system I ordered was the Chelsea extra wide extra tall. Well, my gate was broken. Most likely damaged during shipping. There was oil leaking and the gate was broken in the bottom hinge. It would pop off when ever I opened it... ☹️ Then I’d have to line up the gate and slide it back onto its bottom hinge. Bought three. Needed a 17" extension for one of them to span 55 inches. Easy to assemble, Fit perfect, Very stable.
Great gate for keeping my Grandson safe! I bought several sizes of extensions to move the gate where I needed it. I do wish they were a little sturdier across the top when the bottom is up against a baseboard. Sometimes it is shaken and becomes out of alignment rather easily.
Was given a white Chelsea Xtra-Tall baby gate as a shower gift. I was looking forward to putting it in front of the stairs, but it was too small (not wide enough). Thankfully the website offers extensions in every size imaginable. It was easy to install and works great, but my only complaint is the white extensions are constantly out of stock so I had to break down after a month and get a black extension. Looks a little odd but works just as well.

I'm using this gate to separate my newest addition, 112 pound mastiff pup, from my heigh grouchy older cocker spaniel and it works great! I'm thrilled with how sturdy it is, even with three extensions.
Like the auto close feature and it opens and closes both ways.
I needed a very large gate for a very strong dog who esapced, knocked over or jumped over every other gate we had before, the extensions allowed us to limit her to her the kitchen area of the house only, she has yet to knock it down after many attempts of ramming it with her body, also you do not have to apply hardware into your walls its mounts right against the wall and does not leave any marks at all. Would recommend for anyone who has a large opening that needs gate off, they are also super easy to install!
