Dremel - 108-Piece All-Purpose Accessory Kit

Everything is amazing about this tool, I use it for wood working, drilling through glass and using it to grind/ sand Rust off of metal.The Dremel brand definitely bringing power and professionalism to the field.

A little bit of everything needed for projects around the house. Fixed a rusted spot on my front door . Cut out the rusted area then used bondo and sanded it down using the products included in the kit. Oil base paint and looks brand new.

Garbage

There was a single full size cutoff wheel and a single reinforced cutoff wheel. The replacements are all small, regular cutoff wheels. The reinforced cutoff wheel wore down to a nub within about 8 inches of cutting 1/16th" ornamental brass. When I tried to use the other wheel, the screw head on the mandrel broke off before getting tight enough for the wheel not to spin. There's only one of those, so now I have useless cutoff wheels. The grinding heads are similarly wearing down to nothing in just a minute or two on 1/16th" brass. This whole kit is junk.

I contacted Home Depot about a problem with this item and never heard anything back from them. One of the attachments broke the first time I used it. In fact, I never got to use that particular attachment.

I haven’t used all the pieces yet. Wish there were a video giving me more ideas how to use everything. So far the attachments are great for sharpening and cleaning gardening tools. If it’s nice and warm enough to take off my shoes, I use it to polish me feet too. Yes I recommend.

I purchased Dremel's 108 piece rotary tool accessory kit in-store when we picked up the batteries that I ordered online for my Dremel model 750 rotary tool which they did not fit. I subsequently ordered a 7300 series Dremel instead of returning everything because I need a rotary tool. I chose this accessory kit over the 130 piece kit they had in stock for its price and because I will not need all of the accessories included in it any time soon, and if I need them I can purchase them individually, but I won't need them in the quantity that the kit contains. This 108 piece kit contains buffing pads and polishing compound that I may never use, but it cost less and includes more of what I will use as opposed to purchasing the items individually. I have only used two accessories so far, but I will be using all of the accessories quite a bit, especially the sanding drums. The kit came with multiple sanding drums in two sizes; ¼" and ½", with two grits in ½" and three grits in ¼", as well as their respective mandrels. Those items alone in my opinion substantiates most of the price. The two accessories I have used were a cut-off wheel and the small triangular grinding stone, and while they performed their respective tasks adequately, those tasks would have been completed much quicker if I had purchased one of Dremel's higher voltage cordless rotary tools or a corded model since they turn at higher speeds. They both wore down rather quickly, but I'm probably unfairly comparing them to the equivalent accessories that last much longer with the pneumatic tools that I use at work as an automotive technician. The cut-off wheel wore down to almost nothing when cutting the tips off of twelve #8 screws, and the grinding stone wore down to just a nub while slightly enlarging two holes in metal. From my experience with the grinding stones I have used with my pneumatic tools, stones made of more dense material would last quite a bit longer, but I don't know it that's possible to make denser stones in sizes as small as these. From experience with my model 750 Dremel, the sanding drums should last quite a while before they become worn enough that they no longer sand adequately. I am giving it three stars because I feel that the accessories I used could have lasted longer, but all in all I am satisfied with my purchase.

Nice assortment. Would be even more helpful if they described the various tools instead of just listing them. If you are a Dremel whisperer then you don’t need that but I have to look some of them up as they are not all obvious.

The accessories are good the case is a piece of garbage

To say I am under enthused with this case is a huge understatement. If you think you are getting $90 worth of accessories you probably shouldn’t be allowed out if not under supervision, but for what they cost it is a decent deal on accessories that if purchased separately would probably set you back $45-$50. Maybe a little more.I bought this because the case would allow me to store the accessories in a way that I could see where what I needed was. The inner trays are made of the same throw away thin plastic that a candy assortment comes packaged in. Nobody in their right mind buys an assortment of chocolates expecting to be able to return them to the package multiple times. What a great kit to add to my growing collection of Dremel accessories! I was trying to clean up some old truck parts by hand and getting nowhere. I don't have space for a bench grinder, and had lost the 1/2" sanding drum attachment so I was looking for a replacement. I also wanted some smaller grinding stones. This kit has everything I need for small cutting, grinding, sanding, and polishing.

Works as expected. Easy and comfortable to use. Dust jacket works surprisingly well. Haven’t tried vacuum attachment yet. Currently using it to restore old wooden door.
