Good quality and well made flexible Drive drill
Bought this one a couple of years ago for making jewelry. It works wonderfully. Has variable speeds. Works great on both low and high speed. Never gets hot, like other tools, which according to reviews can get very hot in your hand. The foot piece makes it easy to control speeds. I would buy it again and again but I don't think I will need to anytime soon as it seems to be an incredibly reliable tool.Recommend!!!!
Great Dremel, my husband is able to carve into wood, metals, Rocks and Stones. It's a great tool for him to use for his creative and productive nature. It's easy to assemble and create, there are many extensions available for this Dremel.
If Dremel wants to stay in the carving game they need to add a reverse feature to cast dust away from the carver, also some form of dust deflector for the protection of the machine itself.
Just got this today and upon opening the unit is dusty. Very dissapointed would prefer to get it from the store but it's only available online and it is needed right away.
I got this to help ease the pain with my arthritis in my hands; and boy did it do that!! This is so much easier to use with the foot peddle then the standard Dremel. The vibration in the hand unit is all but 97% less then a standard Dremel. It takes a little practice to control the speeds through the foot peddle, but once you get use to it, you'll be looking for more reasons to use it. The drive cable is rigid, but not cumbersome. And the noise off the motor is about 25% less then the standard Dremel. If you have arthritis in your hands and you own a Dremel or like tool, you need to get this!! A bit pricey, but WELL worth it!
