This is my second dryrobe purchase and I am not at all disappointed. My first was the pink/camo and now I have a black/grey which my husband and teens will use. The materials and construction quality are wonderful resulting in a ‘coat’* which is super warm, cosy, and ideal for an outdoor lifestyle.*I am not a watersports enthusiast, but have a campervan and spend a lot of time outdoors. The dryrobes are perfectly suited for cold and windy weekends at the beach, and socialising outdoors, and are ideal for sitting around the campfire / BBQ after the sun goes down. Great material. Comfortable on the inside, breathable, water repellent on the outside.We live on a Scottish island in a beach house, so even on sunny summer days, the Dry Robe protection is great.I bought one for my wife and I. Bought as a Christmas present for my husband. Who was thrilled.Bought more as a coat for dog walking than swimming.Quality excellent and may seem expensive, but can see why.Put to the test recently.Due to transport issues had to do a 5 mile walk in torrential rain and gale force winds...and remained completely dry, snug and warm. Think any other coat in the conditions as they were, he would have been like a drowned rat or at least a little soggy.He was so impressed he tells everyone how good his Dryrobe is.

It’s very warm indeed so may be too heavy for summer or those warmer days if you make the mistake of wearing too thick a sweater underneath. However it’s perfect worn on a windy beach, coastal walks, post sea swim or surfing but I’d rather be snug than cold any day. For the price (and it’s a premium price coat) it genuinely is worth it and the customer service response on social media to my request for next day delivery was instant and fantastic. The Dryrobe is good quality but far cheaper brands do the same and the durability benefit will be after I am dead. Coming out of a realy cold swim you want to put the robe on, loosely secure and then take your trunks off, dry a little and put on trousers, all within the privacy and comfort of the robe. My Dryrobe didn't allow me to do so. A small modification, cutting slits through the pockets and internal lining enables me to get my trunks off. But I am still fiddling with the zip, not easy with frozen hands, and when I have got it running I can't get a towel around me as it closes from the bottom. A couple of Velcro tabs would sort that.It amazes me that others haven't signalled these obvious tweeks! If you read this please get back in touch.Robert

A fabulous buy. Seals you in against the wind and rain from head to toe like a big warm cuddle. Perfect for instant comfort after outdoor swimming when the weather lacks sunshine or warmth, and for getting changed under. I also find it’s Ideal for modesty and protection if needing to venture outside with the dog in the middle of the night.Has a reliable and substantial zip and the materials are robust and good quality. Not so keen on the large product lettering tbh but that’s a small grumble for an excellent piece of kit
On receiving dryrobe it is clearly a quality item. Importantly, zip is heavy duty as this is usually first bit to give way. I took dry robe on camping trip. The great British Summertime lived up to expectations with intermittent torrential downpours, so much so, that some people gave up and went home. At one point I sat under a dripping tree getting soaked while a friend prepared a BBQ under a tarp. Don’t ask. Dry robe was saturated and a tiny amount of rain seeped through zip where coat was rucked up as I was sat on a chair. However, despite torrential rain I was warm and dry apart from that small breach. Coat dried fairly quickly considering and I even used it as an extra blanket. Very satisfied.
Bought as a gift. We opened the box and the packaging was good. The robe itself felt fairly cheap, materials were uncomfortable on skin, and the construction wasn't anything to write home about. I think for that kind of money we expected something better and nicer that set it apart from the others but it really wasn't great.We sent it back for a full refund and went elsewhere.I would recommend Finisterre product which is already premium over this and cheaper, and then there are other brands under £100 that offer literally the same product, same quality and same material as this robe.
