I just wanted to be sure to tell everyone the service from ministry of scent was amazing,I had a issue with shipping and they fixed it immediately.Im definitely a fan of amber Kiso just like bowmakers alot better if that's what your going for. A.k is very amber heavy given the name...not bad thought,I really like what d.s durga is doing gonna need to try more.Ty again MoS

I get stopped and complimented on this fragrance more than almost any other from my extensive collection. Amber Kiso really envelopes you in an intoxicating warmth that you just want to linger in forever. This scent definitely has longevity and I have no problem picking up the scent on myself after a long day. It’s definitely a more unique Amber fragrance with notes of incense, sawara cypress, iris, hinoki and leather. It’s a signature aroma I can’t be without year-round.

This scent is unisex, leaning slightly more masculine. I imagine this being worn by someone who wears a lot of black and spends time in cafes. Incense and leathery, this would be ideal in Autumn and Winter, could be cloying in warm weather. It mellows out in the dry down and has impressive longevity. One star missing simply because leather notes read a little powdery to me, but that works for some people. Another beauty from D.S. And Durga.

Gorgeous

This is not a light, forgettable fragrance; it is bold and unusual, maybe not for everyone but if you like it, you will LOVE it (and if other people like it, they will stop you on the street to ask you what you're wearing). It is full bodied, grown up and smokey, perfect for autumn and winter but maybe a little too much for summer.

Rich luxurious fragrance which lingers

This fragrance is incredible. The best way to describe it is rich wood panelled library wearing a smoking jacket…! The scent lingers on clothes the next day and it brings a lot of compliments! It’s likely a masculine fragrance but definitely recommend trying in store. One thing to note is that the fragrance seems to lightly colour white clothes so be sure to let it dry down .

I believe the inspiration for this scent is samurai armor. This perfume really connects with that ambition.It’s a great evening scent for the colder months. This perfume is beautiful. It’s rich deep and intense, more a masculine scent which I love. Smoky, woody and the leather and amber is just gorgeous. The dry down is a bit sweeter. I’m on my second bottle. That how much I love itI would say its more a winter Autumn scentI would recommend it.

The Amber Kiso is delicately crafted and complex in its tone. The layers of cedar and incense are amazing, with moments of each popping out individually at various times. It sticks to the skin and stays around for a long time.

Strong smokey leather with a woody, heavy oriental style incense opening, eventually dries down into a sweet ambery, smokey leather vibe right to the end. Very smooth and very strong, long lasting cold weather scent. Don't overspray this one, can come across a bit medicinal to some as it develops (its not, its just the various wood blends coming through mixed with the side notes) if you like the style of Maison Margiela's By The Fireplace you'll love this one!

Obsessed with this fragrance. All the notes and descriptors sounded like exactly what I wanted, so I bought the travel perfume oil version of it to see if it meshed with my body chemistry. It is a cool-girl, quiet rose, effortless elegance and a lovely everyday scent - remarkable yet understated. Clean and salty and floral, with an unusual base depth somewhat similar to ambroxan. I just wish the sillage and lasting power were both stronger, but that’s expected with an oil. Putting the EDP version of this on my wish list ;)
