Actually, 29” Shimano microspline 12s drive, but in any case, perfect wheel for my bike. DT Swiss quality that I expect! Would have preferred centerlock but 6bolt will work… these days you can’t be too picky.

Got this wheel to substitute in for a XCM1200 that I broke. It's not as light and responsive, but the piece of mind I get from not worrying about getting stuck out in the middle of the woods if I smash into a rock is worth it. Great DT hub as usual and being able to pull the cassette and freehub off the old wheel and just press it onto the new one was great. Maxis DHR popped on really easily with a floor pump.

Happy with purchase of the XR 1700's. Bought for for XC 29'er and had a couple of rides so far. Long climbs & descents on forestry roads, with a few PB's on Strava. Tackled single track the next day that I'd normally do on my trail bike and wheels felt solid, fely no flex, like my Stans. DT Swiss 350 rear hub engages quickly, super smooth. All up, fast, light and firm and a great price over here in NZ. So thank you bikeINN.

Actually, 29” Shimano microspline 12s drive, but in any case, perfect wheel for my bike. DT Swiss quality that I expect! Would have preferred centerlock but 6bolt will work… these days you can’t be too picky.

I have had DT Swiss rims in the past so I know what to expect. The 350 hub is the same as the old 240 with steel parts in the needed areas for the extra torque of e-bikes. These are built to last and the hubs are easy to rebuild when required.
