DT Swiss Competition J-Bend Spoke The company now known as DT Swiss has been drawing steel in Biel for over 350 years, with their spokes still made entirely in-house in Switzerland to the highest standards of quality and workmanship. The classic lightweight butted spoke, the Comp, is a cycling staple relied upon by everyone from commuters to World Cup downhillers; when in doubt, use Comps! The 14/15 gauge double butted spoke is 1.8 mm thick in the centre to save weight, but 2 mm thick at the ends where strength is required. While other brands stretch and weaken their spokes to butt them, DT's unique and closely patented ultrasonic peening process cold forges the spokes, actually strengthening the metal. This gives DT spokes the best strength-to-weight ratio of any butted spokes. Made exclusively from Swedish X5 stainless steel, custom blended specifically for DT, these spokes are finished in black using an electro-chemical treatment that is durable and does not weaken the spoke. The rolling of the nipple thread does not remove any metal from the spoke, preserving the grain of the material. This maximises strength and greatly reduces the likelihood of failure at the threads, a common issue with lower quality spokes.

DT Swiss are the best. It is a petty that they are so expensive. I would like to buy just these spokes! If they were cheaper they would have 5 stars always

These spokes aren't anything new but they are a perfect balance of strength, weight and reliability. Quality spoke you can rely on !

Nobody carries odd sizes except Jenson. Most other places would have either 290mm or 292mm. I needed 291mm and Jenson had it. Only thing is their add said 2.0/1.8/2.0 which is what I wanted but received 2.0/1.8/1.8 It worked out OK, but on the end that goes in the hub I prefer the thicker 2.0. But this time it worked out OK.PROS: Perfect Size, Easy To Install, Durable, Lightweight

Product is fine and it's tru description says 1x, but I of course thought it was 1 box of spokes and not 1 spoke. Description and pictures could be better adapted...this is fooling customers and for 8chf a spoke...Veloplus sells them at 1.4chf and their picture is very obvious it's JUST ONE SPOKE.
These in my opinion are way easier to true and round when compared to the the champions due to the middle of the shaft being thinner, it just seems like an all around stiffer and cleaner looking wheel. Love them and would recommend them. They even come with just enough lubricant on them to build straight out of the box.
Only had them on my wheel set for 50 miles. No issues so far. Only complaint is the jenson tech support helped me with spoke lengths and they were slightly off. Still made it work. It happens I guess
If you are not a pro or part of a race club, ie, not someone incredibly concerned with weight/strength ratio, but a good compromise on mid-high quality spokes.they were easy to manipulate during the lacing process and didn't fear that i was damaging the spokes.PROS: Easy to work withCONS: No issuesBEST USES: Great for general riding, Learning to lace wheels
I used these spokes when rebuilding my flow wheelset. I want my wheels to be bombproof and so far these have not let me downPROS: Lightweight, DurableBEST USES: Mountain Biking, Upgrade
