Used this for the first time this morning using instant coffee topped with the frothy milk. Delicious. Definitely a keeper. Will save a fortune buying the instant cappuccino sachets and tastes and looks much better.Was worried the temperature wouldnāt be hot enough for me. How wrong I was.Looking forward to experimenting more. Very easy to clean which means itāll get used. Looks great on my kitchen worktop.

The instructions were easy to follow and I opted for a hot chocolate using a chocolate bar broken up. Have to add I got some squirty cream to make it even more luxurious. It was complete in a remarkably quick time, the chocolate completed melted into the milk making a silky consistency. The temperature is held at 70 degrees as suggested and makes it ready to drink. The body of the frother was completely non stick with no sign of any chocolate sticky anywhere. The drink was heavenly, if anyone wants it hotter you could pour it into your mug and microwave for a few seconds. I bought this primarily as a hot chocolate maker and it does a fabulous job! It's considerably cheaper than a certain chocolate brand's one and does the job perfectly. If using it for hot chocolate it works best with powder or shavings. You can also use it with chunks of chocolate, but you need to chop them up first otherwise it does struggle to melt them. My husband thought it was a frivolous purchase, but he uses it more than me!

I purchased the Dualit handheld milk frother for my wife's birthday. She loves hot chocolate and cappuccinos.For hot chocolate the Dualit frother is absolutely FANTASTIC. First thing to note is the hot chocolate actually is hot. I've tried other brands of frothers at home as and none of them delivered a piping hot drink but this one does. It's amazing plus the texture of the hot chocolate is excellent. For cappuccinos it's also amazing. The unit is very easy to clean and looks great in our kitchen.
A really nice machine that is great for making hot drinks! I've made loads of hot chocolates and flat whites since buying it and it's a real treat to be able to indulge in them all. It is super easy to use and to clean, heats my drinks up to a perfect temperature and I really like the range of different attachments and the easy to follow guide in the manual for making the drinks. Overall, if you love to make something a bit more than your average coffee, would absolutely recommend.
Generally the "machine" is good: compact, swivels on a base, easy to wash and very quiet.As a milk frother it is great.However , as a hot chocolate maker...less so.It gives a tepid/warm chocolate as opposed to a hot chocolate, and the hot chocolate is not a frothy one as expected (for me at least)...this may be because of the chocolate powder (good quality) that I use.For the price, if it maybe had 2 settings: one for frothy milk and a longer hotter one for a nice frothy hot chocolate..that would be a 5* straight away.
Bought this to supplement a Beko bean to cup machine which is very good except for the milk wand.I only use it for a cappuccino mostly and it does this job very well. The froth is dense and the milk warmed. The people who prefer coffee too hot won't be so keen but it suits me very well.Cleaning is quick and simple. The non stick interior is of high quality and doesn't need much work at all.All in all it's a great piece of kit.
I have never purchased a milk frother before. I wanted to be able to do a number of drinks. Which this does. Hot chocolate, flat white, latte coffees etc. It comes with a different attachments depending of what type of drinks required. It hears the milk up to surround 70degrees which guarantees the milk doesn't burn. Easy to use.I always warm my mug before putting my hot chocolate into it. Only so it doesn't cool down so quick.
A good product for making hot chocolate. Put in the whisk assembly, add 225ml of cold milk, 25-35g of chocolate, put on the lid, switch on and two and a half minutes later the hot chocolate is ready. I have been using chocolate flakes, but the enclosed leaflet (yes - a physical leaflet!) details a whole range of chocolate that you can use. Also provides details for making flat white, latte, cappuccino and mocha. Washes out easily. Worth treating yourself!
Had the previous model before this one. There are more settings on this one and the machine is quiet. It does the job well and I like the differing variations for latte, cappuccino, flat white, etc. However, disappointed to find it does not provide a cold frothing option (which previous model had) and it is still a bit of a faff to clean as you have to be extra careful to not get the bottom wet otherwise it will stop working. Overall though a great product with just a couple of minor drawbacks.
