DO NOT BUY - TERRIBLE PRODUCT

Bought the white for bathroom, white tinted for kitchen cupboards and gloss for kitchen bench tops. Super careful, followed instructions to the letter. The ticker gloss for bench tops is apalling. Since saw many other reviews saying same. Stays stripey no matter what you do. 100 bucks a small tin, feel very ripped off

Product finish is terrible. We followed instructions, sanding first, then applying primer coat, followed by two coats of this product. We used the rollers as per instructions. The finish is terrible and you can see roller marks. Contacted Dulux and was not satisfied with their solution. They wanted me to buy more of their product and apply using a different method that was not in the instructions on the tin. I would not recommend this product to anyone and will not be using Dulux products again, after the bad customer service experience.

I repainted my kitchen cabinets and wasn’t sure what they were made out of so I used the primer to be safe (for certain cabinets it says not required). Note that until the final 2 clear top coats are on you need to be extremely careful as they are what cure and bind all the layers together to harden. If you follow all the instructions carefully, it works perfectly and they seem to be really resistant now to wear and tear. Totally freshened up my kitchen and saved me thousands updating the cabinet doors!

Easy to use product, it is clear primer
28 August 2022

I used the primer for old varnished timber cupboards and laminate walls. Yes it is really easy to use, not too much odour although there is a certain smell to it. I was surprised to see it went on clear and it was quite runny for a primer, so depending on what you are priming, I found it hard to know where you have been with a clear product. Also as it has the additive you must use the whole tin within the timeframe or it's a waste of any remainder. Overall I was happy with it, I wasn't able to get the colour I wanted in the renovation range for cabinets so was relieved to be told at Bunnings that I could use the dulux water based enamel as a top coat instead. Really happy with the stickability on the laminate walls. We will see how long it lasts!

Great glossy and strong lasting finish
12 September 2022

I used the dulux renovation range primer, gloss white cabinet door paint and finally this gloss top coat. The results were beautiful, really glossy and strong finsih which appears to be really durable. Make sure you follow all the instructions closely and try to complete the job in a clean and closed room to minimise any lint landing on the paint while drying. This did happen to me but you can’t even tell now everything is put back. Make sure you allow the proper drying time between costs and note that if you bump or scratch it before the final clear top coats have cured it may chip off - you need all the layers for it to cure properly.

Happy with results
15 September 2022

Read reviews on the internet of this product- they sounded terrible.Figured I would still give it a shot. Followed instructions EXACTLY.Painted tiled walls and floors… after cleaning, scrubbing, sanding, primer, 2 coats with exact wait times the paint was easily scratched by even sitting the paint tray on the floor so was really panicked… waited proper curing times and then laid sheets on floor and avoided a lot of use for ten days.Paint is now cured and nil issues!Happy with results… even painted shower floor and so far so good! ( been 4 weeks now)I recommend this range however there are no short cuts and it takes a fair bit of work.

Seems To Attract Dust Whilst Painting
14 November 2022

Was recommended this to provide a clear, wear coat on newly painted cabinet doors. After several coats of white paint the cabinets looked great but we wanted them to be more hard wearing and dirt resistant. Unfortunately this paint seems to attract copious amounts of dust when applying. I tried several new rollers thinking that I was doing something wrong however it seems as though either the stickiness of the paint or some sort of static properties cause dust and hairs to be instantly attracted to it.The cabinets were all complete fine after several coats of the standard white paint and everything was painted in exactly the same location with the same equipment and techniques. Now we will most likely have to start completely from the beginning, sanding and ... MoreWas recommended this to provide a clear, wear coat on newly painted cabinet doors. Terrible product, very bad value for money
26 April 2023

DONT waste your cash. Paint, primer and clearcoat goes on too thinly, dries too quickly and is IMPOSSIBLE to apply without leaving blemishes.it's also NOT waterproof, NOT hardwearing and marks and dings easily. We spent hundreds of dollars and followed the instructions exactly.Note, i've painted a lot in my near half a century of life. This stuff is really not fit for purpose.Even if you're doing a temporary spruce-up for a couple of years before a major renovation, DONT buy. use, quite literally any other product...it's NOT suitable for kitchens at all

This product sucks!
4 February 2023

This product sucks. Don’t be tricked into buying it. I watched the Bunnings Instructional video and took all the right steps and it worked well on my laminate doors but not the old laminate countertop. It just didn’t stick and scratched very easily after I applied the diy paint that follows. When I took the product back to Bunnings, the paint staff member who served me was condescending and arrogant and told me I did it all wrong when I know I didn’t because it worked okay on the doors. No refund of course. Just a runaround.

Waste of Money. Not watertight, doesn't go on very smoothly / glossy, too thin.
26 April 2023

It's NOT waterproof in any way, showing blemishes if any standing water stays on for a few seconds or more.it does NOT finish smooth. We recently re-did our old melamine coated particleboard worktops.Purchased 2 tins of Renovation Range primer, 2 tins of Domino Gloss paint and 2 tins of the Renovation clearcoat Gloss.....6 tins all up, several hundred dollars invested.......We also purchased a couple of dozen small NAP type rollers and new trays. (as stated in the instructions)What a waste of money :-(, Several hundred dollars down the drain, we'd have been better off with just standard Gloss paint, tinted to any colour we chose.Firstly - this stuff is 'thin' - it will show ANY slight blemishes, dents and dings - so make sure you skim / fill the areas you ... MoreIt's NOT waterproof in any way, showing blemishes if any standing water stays on for a few seconds or more.it does NOT finish smooth. You need to pour the paint thickly and 'hope for the best' at the edges of the pour where the paint is too thin and drys, leaving marks.A month later, and in-use...you have to be very careful when using the worktops - the paint 'dings' and marks EASILY.forget using cutlery nearby, if you accidentally drop a butterknife on the worksurface, it'll chip the paint.DO NOT USE THIS PAINT NEAR SINKS - any standing water soaks into the paint and leaves a whitish blemish - see photos. This does dry out, but concerns me regarding the longetivity of this finish.Summary - it's a waste of time and money. if you want a stop-gap solution whilst saving to renovate, don't use this, Use ANY other product for a fraction of the price
