A great sport touring, naked bike and adventure bike tire option. I have them on four very different bikes and the handling is excellent in each case. Confidence inspiring, handles like a a sport tire and, very good in wet as well. Not sure yet about overall mileage. Sides shown some wear after 1500 miles of hard canyon carving which, for reference has been the same for me for many other brands under the same hard canyon and rough backroad conditions.

Just about 500 miles now and wow. What a big improvement over the stock Bridgestone's. They just feel more planted and the feed back is surprisingly better. Nothing wrong with the stock tires but the Mutants are really just that much better. Dunlop really pulled one out with these. Not sure the mileage will be all that great but I personally prefer grip over mileage any day.The only down side I've noticed so far is they track rain grooves more than the stock tires did but I'm already used to it and it's nothing like tires back in the day. (Yes I'm getting old).I also haven't had them in the wet but unless they do something weird I'm sold!

I ride a mix of twisty country roads, dirt/gravel farm roads and through monsoons, when necessary. This tire handled all 3, without issue. My 500lb Buell Uly started flattening out the rear tire after ~5k miles. For reference, ~3k of those miles were on the highway. These won't replace a dedicated knobby tire and won't survive as long as some other dedicated road competitors. For the amount of miles I typically do, I'll be sticking with these for the high performance in various conditions.

I don't know why sellers are always pressing for buyers to write reviews within days of purchasing something...that just doesn't make any sense, especially for products that require time to break in...ok, rant over. I switched from Conti Road Attack III. Initially they are preforming way better, but hard to tell if that is simply because the old tires were so worn out (old ones were down past wear bars on rear, and close on front). Any nice new tire would have been better than old flat spotted worn out tires.I have a BMW '07 R1200RT. So far in the first 300 miles they are great. I feel they are just getting broke in to the point where I can start hitting some of my favorite twisty roads and curves harder. Had not yet got a chance to test them in the rain. Right ... Right now it's Oct 19, 2023 so the riding season in VT is rapidly coming to a close. The main reason I went with these instead another set of my previous tires was to see if I could get some extra mileage. The Conti's were only giving me about 5,000 miles, I get they were sport touring tires but at 5,000 miles that ain't touring. Heck it doesn't even get me from one oil change to the next. Hoping these Mutants will last longer. Giving them a good 3 right now because they seem like good decent tires. I'll have to remember to come back here at the end of 2024, next season, and update my review with more/better real life info.
I love these tires. Put 4000 miles on them so far and they haven't noticed any drop off in performance. I ride broken pavement/ mixed surfaces. On the road, they are predictable and linear feeling from side to side, unlike some tires that tip in too aggressively and leave you feeling a little skittish. On gravel and broken road, the word that comes to mind is adaptable. They don't get upset when transitioning between high and low levels of traction so long as you're mindful of your road conditions. They grip well enough in silt or loose gravel to get you back to solid road when you decide to take the path less traveled. The bit of wet riding I have done, I haven't noticed any change in traction levels. They feel just as confident. For my style of riding, I can't ... MoreI love these tires. I know the tread design doesn't look like a sport bike tire but I installed these on my 2021 Hypermotard. Forget what the tread looks like - it's unconventional but I have used them at the track twice - the grip is phenomenal! They really provide confidence which is what you want in a tire right? 2 track days and 2500 miles overall and they are wearing well.I'm GUESSING they will wear better than a Q5 but not as long as the Road Sport - given the crazy amount of grip they are likely softer.Like them so much I'm putting them on my SuperSport.
Picked up a set of these after getting a bad flat on worn tires. I'm not even a Dunlop fan!Absolutely phenomenal tire, far better than it has any right to be. You wouldn't think they'd be great for a superbike, but they hold up *extremely* well, every bit as sticky as the stock S22's in the dry and unbelievably superior in wet, cold, and even yes, dirt.It bears noting that while these tires are actually pretty competent in dirt (that is, well maintained dirt roads, not trails, sand, or what have you) they don't give up anything to accomplish that. They are 100% comparable to the other major full street Sport Touring tires available.I'm only about 1000kms into mine, but I'm extremely impressed with them. No flashy traction control light even running the MT10 flat out.VERY stiff sidewalls, though. I like that - you can feel what's happening with the tire - but YMMV. They're a bear to mount as a result, though.
Fantastic tire. I got just about 10,000 miles out of them before replacing. They still had a little bit of tread left but I was leaving for a 2,000 mile trip and just wanted new shoes before doing so. Unfortunately, I didn't plan ahead enough and ended up on Road 6s (which are still on my 2022 GS Adventure). While I like the Road 6s, I like the Mutants more and will go back to them when these wear out. With the Mutants my bike road straight and true, while with the Roads it pulls rather severely to the left. Both tires warm up quickly, but the Mutant I feel warms up just a hair quicker, the Roads get a little squirrely at the same spot on my normal commute where the Mutants felt planted. All in all, a great tire.
These tires are incredible. I put them on my BMW S1000RR because I was going on a long trip and wanted the longer tread life. I rode from Jacksonville, FL, to the Tail of the Dragon, all the way up to Montreal, Quebec, down through Toronto, crossing back into the States at Buffalo, and across all the way to Kansas City. I've ridden with these on sunny days, in torrential downpours, and at 190MPH and they held up admirably in every test I've given them. People chuckle at me having touring tires on a super speedy zoom zoom machine, but I genuinely can't find a single negative thing to say about them or my experience.
