Dunlop Tortex Flow Players - 12 Pack .50 mm

Experience the superior precision and articulation of Tortex Flow Picks, a harmonious blend of Tortex Picks' bright snap and Flow Pick geometry. These picks, first introduced in 1981, were designed to be a high-quality alternative to tortoiseshell picks. However, they quickly transcended their initial purpose, carving out their own unique identity and setting a new standard in the music industry. Invented by Jim Dunlop, these picks are a testament to innovation and quality. They were born from the desire to create a pick with a bright, snappy attack, unmatched durability, and an improved grip. After selecting Delrin as the base material, Jim spent over a year perfecting a special treatment process to maximize its potential. This process is what distinguishes Tortex Picks from the rest, giving them their unique matte surface for enhanced grip and aggressive attack. In addition to their exceptional performance, Tortex Picks are also recognized for their color-coded gauge system. This system, an extension of Jim's earlier work with Nylon Picks, has resulted in a vibrant and timeless palette that has become an industry standard. The iconic turtle logo and the distinctive Tortex color palette have become synonymous with quality and performance. Tortex Picks, still proudly made at the Dunlop HQ in Benicia, California, continue to be our best-selling pick line, adhering to Jim's original formula. They have become a staple for musicians worldwide, across all genres and playing styles. When you walk into any music store and ask for Green or Yellow Picks, you'll likely be handed a pack of Tortex .88mm or .73mm Picks. Experience the revolution that Jim Dunlop started with Tortex Picks. They're not just a pick; they're a testament to innovation, quality, and the love of music. Made in the USA, these picks are ready to help you create the music you love.
