Dymo LetraTag Bluetooth Labeller 200B Value Pack

I got this little Dymo LetraTag to try from influenster. I have an older label maker but it is massive and I don't use it much. I love that this one is so small. It runs on 4 AA batteries (not included fyi). The box comes with 2 cartridges - one with a white background and one clear. Text is added using the app which eliminated the need for such a large machine but not needing a keyboard. Setup took about 10 minutes (some of which was finding batteries). Like all label makers I've used, a lot of the cartridge is wasted when printing in order to get it out of the machine and cut it. This DYMO Letratag 200 B portable Label maker is a game changer. As a teacher and a mom of two and someone who delights an organization. This has really helped me in my day-to-day life at home and work. I am able to create fast and easy labels literally at the palm of my hands! It has Bluetooth capabilities that allow you to use your phone or tablet. The device itself is super small and compact and can literally fit into your purse or small bag. It comes with its first round of label tape, and you will need four AA batteries. You can create labels and five different font sizes six different font styles with 15 box styles like underlining and there’s 100+ icons to utilize. It also has the convenient built in snipping capability to neatly cut off your label post print.

Overall, this is a nice, simple mini printer that did its job well. However, I don't think it's worth the price. It looks stylish and beautiful, but it has many cons. One of the tapes was completely hidden inside the cartridge, and I had to disassemble it to get it out. You have to figure out how to find the app and then download the app on your phone and connect it to the printer since there are no instructions included. In addition, the printer box does not close completely, leaving a hole. There are no mistakes in the printing, and all the letters are presented clearly, making it easy to read. I got the LetraTag 200B Bluetooth Label Maker for free from Influenster and DYMO in exchange for my honest review. I am an organizer through and through, so this was perfect for me to use both at home and for the office. Once you download the DYMO app it was super user friendly and easy to use. There are many unique template designs to use and plenty of different fonts, sizes, and styles. It was very convenient being able to type your text into your regular phone keyboard and just click print to send it to the machine vs entering the information into the machine itself. The labels did feel paper like, so I’m not sure how long the durability of the tags will last. Overall, very easy, helpful, and convenient!

My biggest challenge has been the cutter. Cutting each label has been taking so much effort, sometimes you lose a lot more of the label than wanting to due to pulling. Sometimes it won't cut, causing a jam for the next label. Other times it would let me align in the middle and it will print on the lowest part of the label or not print at all. I do wish there was a way I could control the alignment in the application. In addition, I do wish I was able to print vertically not just horizontally as I love to label my toddlers items and next to the bins. I also wish it came with other colors printing paper not just basic things. This set comes with a clear label to print in black, white paper print in black, and white plastic print in black. As someone who does a lot of printing labels I do wish there were more options, controls in the application, and features such as different colors. Eventually, after a few rounds of wasting the printing label, I got it to align in the middle and print smoothly, but it sure took a lot of effort. It's not a bad design, and I love the lightweight slick look. I do want to mention that you are able to select a border, a font, size, icons, text styles, and date to add in or add an extra line. I would still recommend it despite of the cons I am seeing. Would love to see improvement l as I believe there are a lot of potentials in this design. Great for pantry organizing, restroom, kids closets, files, clothes, school supplies, water bottles, small business, tool organization, art projects, even labeling milk for the baby with a date. It's easy, lightweight, and portable. For those that do not like using batteries, would love to see this label maker come with a wall charger for at school or office setting or even rechargeable batteries that can be rechargeable via USB C.

My husband has been asking for a LabelMaker for a good amount of time now. However, his frustration with most label makers are that they need to get plugged in and their cords and extra things that he doesn’t really want to deal with. He loves it. This one was as easy as downloading an app and connecting through Bluetooth.yes it does require batteries, but it also makes for a really clean set up. He says the app is super user-friendly and even does a demo on the video that I have attached. There are a good amount of border options ions that you can add pretty fonts. The labels themselves are good quality. If you are going to invest in a label maker, I would definitely recommend this one.

I’ve used Dymo label makers in the past, though they’ve always been older versions with built-in keypads so I was super excited to try this new model. The app is super simple to use and has quite a few options to decorate and personalise your labels — a big step up from the products I’ve previously used. My only feedback, and the reason for my 4/5 star rating, is that the labels are already starting to peel from the corners. This would be a great solution for arts and craft projects or labelling other containers that are stored outside of the bathroom or kitchen!

A lot of glitches, power button does not work!

The labeler is nice, and I like being able to control it from the app. The printing system just definitely has some kinks. The ink looks super dull ever in my first test prints I did when setting it up. You can barely see the ink, and it also like skips in some places when it’s printing. Also, you literally have to pull out a battery for it to turn off. The power button will not turn the machine off. I learned this the hard way when brand new batteries were dead because it was on for 2 weeks without knowing that it won’t shut off. It definitely has a lot of glitches, I don’t know how the other systems they make work, but I’d maybe try them out first.

Don’t buy electronics from Walmart

The item is not effective. I am a new teacher and I started to use this label maker to label things that are mine and the label maker randomly came up with an error message saying that it may be jammed or the cassette is not placed properly. I did all of the recommended troubleshooting instructions and nothing worked. As a new teacher this is so disappointing and to have to spend more money on something for my classroom when I just bought this is very upsetting. I tried to exchange and was told they cannot exchange. Save your money and don’t buy this junk. I only used it three times. I am very angry and don’t plan to buy anything electronic from Walmart again.

I've had this a while now, and have found it useful in more ways than I had expected.The device is robust, though I would advise using good batteries as I struggled at first only to find that the batteries I was using while "seeming" to have agood charge were at fault.there is a review here that the font is not large enough. This must be user error, as I have had no problems at all in setting the font size.The App is not bad and recently got improved.
