I was optimistic that this fan would live up to the organization's reputation. While it is very handsome to look at & very quiet when operating , if you stand more than a meter away from it , you cannot feel the breeze it creates. It is very weak, even on the highest setting. At night, despite the fact that it was positioned at the very end of the bed, it was still hard to feel the cool air. I am disappointed with this product & I will be returning it. I was genuinely hoping to love it & benefit from some great technology but sadly not on this occasion.

Not sure what happened but the functionality is so much poorer than the older model. Noisier and minimal cooling ability. Looks nice though that clearly isnt enough for the price point. Returned it.

Have a 5 m x 5 m room and the Dyson is perfect for this size. We previously used a stand blade fan, but the Dyson is by far more effective. Slim line and easy to keep clean. The oscillation range is good and I like that you can adjust for individual use. Super quiet when used in low to mid range and not too obtrusive on high. Well worth the price.

This fan is pretty amazing and worth its price. I love how it has a remote control that is easy to use and the fan oscillates really well. It is a fan that has a powerful set of speeds and on its lowest speed you cannot even hear it. On Level 10, it works well to sleep with as the sound is the perfect White Noise that you will love to drift off to. I also highly recommend the fan as it has this incredible ability to take odours out of the room... I am referring to farts... I kid you not!!!
Quite like this fan. I would have bought one of the tall round ones but they don't seem to have them anymore. It would have been better for reaching over beds and couches, but this one has worked out okay. It is slightly slow to respond to the remote, so I have found myself trying to turn it off and thinking I haven't hit the button properly because it hasn't turned off straight away, so then hitting the off again, which makes it turn off an on again. So once I get used to it, it will be fine.
Bought this fan to make our bedroom more comfortable on muggy nights. On the lower settings is very quiet. The way the air is circulated is quite good - a broad spread rather than too narrow. Haven't needed to use it at full blast yet, but is doing what we wanted it to do
Super quiet even compared to our older Dyson. Doesn't give air quality readouts but happy to swap that for less noise. Purchased for second bedroom. Moves the air enough for a hot night even on low setting. Timer is useful.
Misleading advertising. High speed not high enough. Not cooling just moving hot air around. Not the right hight for a Bedroom. Glorified fan you could get the same $600 fan from Kmart for $40. Very disappointing product from Dyson ( also I had to choose one star but would rate it a zero on all accounts
Thought I was being indulgent buying this ridiculously expensive fan, turns out to be a life saver on hot nights where being on low is very quiet so I sleep and it’s just enough breeze across me to keep me cool to sleep. I’m sleep deprived as a way of life it seems, so ANYTHING that helps is gold. Extremely happy with this fan.
It's best for sleeping, the fan is quiet enough (setting 3) for me to get a good sleep without the droning noise from my previous Fan. It has 10 speed settings that allow the fan speed to be adjusted to your likening. The unusual outlet produces a stream of air like a 'breeze' which is very comfortable when trying to sleep. The small remote is a handy feature and the unit shows the speed setting visible at night also. Overall the best fan I had by a mile. I would highly recommend it.
