I bought this on a whim because it’s one of the few drugstore foundations that indicates the undertone on the label. This one is Beige- Cool Pink Undertones. I had low expectations because e.l.f. has let me down in the past, but this foundation blew me away! First of all, I’m not typically a foundation person. I prefer tinted serums moisturizers usually because I want my skin to look like skin. On prepped moisturized skin, this blends like a dream and gives a great amount of coverage without using much product. I usually do not use a primer other than sunscreen, but sometimes will pat in a light moisturizer over my makeup if it looks a little cakey after blending. On the swatch photo, you can see the dot of foundation with a little of it barely blended underneath. ... MoreI bought this on a whim because it’s one of the few drugstore foundations that indicates the undertone on the label. It’s not a perfect shade match, as it’s a bit more yellow than I am, but it does cancel out the pink/ red tones in my skin and the match is fine when it’s properly blended. I’m in my early 40s and do not find that this settles into fine lines unless I use too much or need to exfoliate/ moisturize better. How it wears is dependent on my skincare. I usually touch up my makeup a little mid day- powder, blush, concealer, then re-blend. I’m not sure how this would look after 8-10 hours if I didn’t do that. It doesn’t seem to separate or oxidize. It’s worth mentioning that it DOES have a rather strong smell old fashioned fragrance. It reminds me of sitting in the bathroom with my grandmother in the 80s/ 90s, watching her put on makeup. If fragrance isn’t a problem for you, I highly recommend trying this out. It only costs $7 and performs better than a lot of higher end brands IMO.

This product is perfect. It’s so smooth it just slides on your face. Definitely easy to apply you a full face of coverage with this product. You don’t have to keep applying in the same spot that you’re trying to cover up. However, it may require a touch-up or setting powder for oily skin types. • Skin Types: Suitable for normal to oily skin. Dry skin types might need to moisturize well beforehand to avoid any potential dryness or clinginess to dry patches. Performance: The foundation blends well with both brushes and sponges. It doesn’t oxidize much, meaning the color stays true throughout the day. It’s also buildable, allowing you to customize the coverage based on your needs. Pros: • Affordable price point • Medium to full coverage • Semi-matte, natural-looking finish • Long-lasting • Buildable and blendable formula Cons: • May require touch-ups for oily skin types • Dry skin types might need extra hydration • Limited shade range compared to some high-end brands Conclusion: The Elf Cosmetics Flawless Finish Foundation is an excellent choice for those seeking a budget-friendly, high-performing foundation. Its blendable, buildable formula and natural finish make it a versatile option for various skin types and occasions. For the price, it’s a fantastic product that competes well with more expensive foundations.

This foundation is one of the few that don't irritate my sensitive and acne prone skin! I've gone through two bottles so far and I can't say I have any complaints. The formula is buildable but I find that two or three pumps is more than enough coverage for me. Once applied I don't even need concealing to cover any of my acne scars or current breakouts; a great feat for a more medium coverage foundation. This product doesn't settle into my lines or crease and it settles well on the skin and doesn't cake up. Once powdered and set the foundation will last all day; even though sweat and heat! It's very easy to remove as well and isn't heavy on the skin it feels very light and natural despite the fuller coverage. Another ELF product I'd highly recommend and I'll be ... MoreThis foundation is one of the few that don't irritate my sensitive and acne prone skin! I am very happy i decided to switch from Dior Backstage to this line. Both are good except this is $50 cheaper. I had shingles sores around the right eye and they were virtually not visible at all! I paired it with the camo 16 hr concealer. My routine included using a moisturizer, e.l.f pore-less putty primer, Alabaster Satin Finsh foundation, camo 16hr concealer and the halo blush wand, then topped with the new power grip dewy finish setting spray. I think all products work together well. Considering you can’t even tell I have shingles you know the coverage was good. Just make sure if you have dry skin you are very moisturized. Otherwise you will see separating.
I was super skeptical about trying this foundation because it is so inexpensive. After trying so many different brands, I was looking for something that wouldn't break me out and would look nice. Everything breaks me out due to my sensitive skin and acne. This foundation goes on beautifully and has not irritated my skin. I have light, rosy skin and the Beige color works nicely. It goes on so beautifully and is mat, but not not too mat. Also, it feels breathable and is not too hard to remove. The only thing that I don't like is the smell, which is potent at first, but goes away after a while. I am just so blown away and had to share!
I really wanted to love this foundation and was incredibly optimistic having read the reviews however I’ve been left disappointed. Straight from application it’s difficult to apply (and I’ve tried several different application methods now), I wouldn’t describe this as medium to full coverage at all. It’s difficult to blend and not buildable. It separates within an hour and leaves you looking cakey.Whilst my skin tends to be slightly oily it’s not extreme, however this foundation does not work at all for me. Perhaps it’s good for very dry skin, but if you suffer from the slightest bit of oil I would reccomend avoiding and saving your money. I’ve tried a variety of foundations over the years and this is definitely one of the worst ones.
It says "vegan," so I assume there are no aborted baby tissue nor cells in it.Which is why I seldom buy cosmetics and skin care nowadays. Cosmetic companies need to put a "non ab" sticker such as the Non GMO stickers on food. This is relevant in re transdermal absorption and risk of motor neuron adversities. Clarins was adamant about this, but hard to find. This is a fair product, but it is "drying" and leaves a chalky effect. EASILY counteracted with a moisturising base. This, again, relates to the previous paragraph.I'll do some experimenting on my own behalf, and when, not if, used again, will combine with moisturizer.Apart from the above, the tones on offer are nice, the texture is fair, soft even, and the coverage deep.
I tried the Flawless Satin Foundation in Bisque, a fair light hue with neutral undertones, and thought this glycerin-based medium coverage foundation was buildable and looked very natural with a satin finish.I have combination skin and this foundation worked very well in keeping my oily T-zone matte while still hydrating my drier cheek area. This foundation is very good at balancing the skin and making it look smooth.I also liked that this 0.68 fl oz had a pump applicator to keep the foundation hygienic while dispensing the perfect amount of product. This foundation is easy to spread on your face with fingertips, brush and sponge and the application turns out beautifully without being cakey. I wore this foundation for 7+ hours with only one midday touch up.
I've read so many great reviews about this foundation and while I really wanted to love it, it was a flop. What do I dislike? Where do I begin?! First, the scent. It's very heavily fragranced and the scent lingers long after the product dries down. It's a powdery, cheap perfume type scent that just disagrees with me.Second, the packaging. The frosted bottle makes it virtually impossible to get a decent shade match. I had an ULTA sales rep try to help me find a perfect shade, but when I got it home it was way, way off. The product looked much lighter in the bottle than it did on my skin. Why anyone would put foundation in a semi-opaque bottle is anyone's guess. Finally, the texture. It felt very heavy and sticky on my skin. I was expecting it to be a lightweight ... MoreI've read so many great reviews about this foundation and while I really wanted to love it, it was a flop. What do I dislike? Where do I begin?!
