The cassette installed easily until the final bolt. It would not screw in. I Uninstalled the cassette and tried the bolt with upper half removed, bolt went in no problem.I attempted to install again and same problem occurred. It appears that the cassette tolerance is off which doesn't allow the bolt to enter. REI was awesome and returned my purchase. You should be aware that e13 has no contact number and states they will reply to questions when they can 7-10 days. I'm giving them another shot time will tell.

I bought this to serve 2 primary purposes, 1 to replace a worn out SRAM GX cassette and 2 to shave some weight in the process. This ethirteen cassette served well in both these areas plus an added bonus of smoother shifting while gaining a little more gearing on the top end. I mounted this on my 2019 Banshee Rune. I will admit that the installation for me was quite difficult. I am a burlier dude and it took A LOT of umph to seat the cluster into the spider. More so than I think it should have. However, once the wrestling match was over and I got the bike out on the trails, I could noticeably feel smoother transitions with each shift. And a good 100-miles later, it is still performing strong. Overall, I am quite pleased with the product.

Lighter and bigger range than the SRAM cassettes, perfect shift performance.
Expensive, but 15% off sale. Very light and well made. Running M7100 drivetrain. Shifting is as good as the M7100 cassette it replaced.
Pro: Very light, well made, and shifts flawless and requires no adjusting when switching to my training wheels with an NX 11-50 cassette. Cons: the initial install is a bit of a pain forcing it into the slots. The 9 speed cog is grindy sounding when in the stand but you don't notice it riding (If you ever use the 9). Descending in the 9 cog over fast chardy stuff 'might' cause a bit of chain stay slap with chain. Have not ridden it this way yet so no idea. The 4 star is only because of the 9 cog.. it's seems fairly useless. Overall, great cassette, light weight, and much cheaper than Sram.
I got this cassette to replace my worn out SRAM cassette. While the install process was a bit different, e*13 had clear instructions on their website and install went smoothly.The cassette is lighter, less expensive and functions seems nearly identical to the XO1 cassette I removed. The addition of the 9T is a nice touch also.
I bought this to replace and upgrade my GX cassette after reading many reviews. What sold me on the E13 Helix was that it can be replaced in two pieces, was much lighter than a GX (comparable to XX1), and was better value.The cassette looks to be very well machined and is very light. Looking forward to trying it on the trails
Original drivetrain was all SLX with KMC 12spd chain. So 7 or 8 rides in, going through full gear range constantly and it performs flawlessly. Shifting is smoother than before without any stuck between cogs grinding even when shifting under full load 😬. I admit this is not a true scientific experiment as I replaced the chain with XTR at the same time. So I cannot say exactly how much better this is on its own, however the old chain was fine (0.6mm). But with a significant weight saving and bling factor at pushys 15% sale, I couldn’t resist!
Recently I decided to mullet my Rocky Mountain Altitude C70 Power Play e-bike from the original 29er configuration. The specific new rear 27.5 wheel comes only with a Sram XD free hub and not a Shimano micro spline free hub that was on the previous 29er wheel. The bike also has full Shimano XT M8100 running gear. To solve the problem I purchased the ethirteen Helix cassette. The gear shifting is almost as quick as the Shimano cassette. Maybe 10% slower. The installation of the Helix cassette is a little different to the normal locking ring type cassette. I found that when pushing the Helix cassette into the free hub it would wobble slightly when spinning the cassette.
