Wore these to a bar show wallstanding right up front and could hear clearly. Can’t say much for the actual mix at the show but I was confidently hearing a full range of pretty accurate sound all around. The attenuation was accurate and a significant reduction in volume. I’m very impressed with these. You can hear people talking to you directly with reasonable accuracy but it becomes hard to tell if you’re being loud enough or too loud when talking back. And I really appreciate how subtle and inconspicuous they are.

Being a musician, and using Zildjian noise attenuating ear plugs in the past, I found them to work great but be rather uncomfortable and fall out. So when I seen the loops, I had to give them a try.The loops are by far the most comfortable ear plugs I've used, and for a guy with small ears these actually fit perfectly. I've been using Loop since they became a thing, back when the quiets were $15 and the experience was $24 (engage and kids weren't a thing.) It's really crazy seeing how much this has grown in just a couple years. I've even watched as they changed case designs, I think I have like 5 different designs. I really loved the colored cases - I could color code my earplugs so their case matched their color and just a quick glance told me which one I had to grab!I really wish they were more affordable though. One suggestion I have, is I wish there was a color option for the case for the earplugs and the case for string to wear around my neck, I would prefer a bright color for the cases like neon orange or green. The black disappears in the bottom of my purse. Also, the case for the earplugs is too perfect, meaning the earplugs need to be put in just right, or it doesn't close. Honestly I was SO bummed when I saw they were STILL only offered with that stupid gold, I HAAAAAAAATE gold!!! Buuuuuuuut... the oil slick on the purple made me over look it which is saying something HUGENORMOUS! I think they are beautiful, minus the gold PLEASE MAKE A SILVER OPTION!!!! But they really are something in person, the photos don't do them justice. They are gorgeous! I DEF recommend making an oil slick line 😉 or maybe I don't because I just spent close to 300 between these Tomorrowland & my Kinetic haul that came in yesterday. I counted just MY personal loops and I have 19 pair...🫣 I've also bought my son a couple and my partner a pair. I got the Experience model. They are about as comfortable and manageable as any earplugs I've tried. And they definitely work in terms of blocking out noise. Unfortunately I do not enjoy using them for their intended purpose. I bought them primarily to use for band rehearsals. I play guitar in a metal band. They definitely cut out harmful frequencies, they also cut out all of the high end and a fair amount of upper mids. So if I'm doing anything in an upper register (leads, harmonics, etc.) I don't hear it at all. And in lower registers it is really hard to discern one pitch from another, which makes it near impossible to play by ear. Now part of the issue for the last bit is my hearing itself. Without the loops, the sound was more *crisp*, but in a way that seems harmful to your ears, especially after experiencing loud concert sounds with them in. I will say though, like with any earplug, you can hear your own voice really well. So, if you want to sing your heart out at concerts, just be aware - these are earplugs so you’ll be able to hear your own voice more than normal.
