Received fast. Tested the grass trim is ok not bad. Suitable for small lawn and short grass to maintain it. Cannot compare with gas powered grass cutter in term of power for any one interested reference. Seller ship very fast. Thanks seller recommended shop

Bosch Cordless Grass Trimmer

Bought this last month and have used it multiple times in the garden. It's lightweight, easy to use and reliable - perfect for keeping your garden in order. I've used it on grass and some thicker weeds and it seems perfectly adept at taking care of the tougher stuff - I've only had to extent the cutting cord twice so far despite using it most weekends in the last month. Would highly recommend.

Get the right battery

I bought this product as I like Bosch products and have the batteries and charger. However, despite checking the description carefully I found my batteries did not fit even though some of the suppliers documentation suggests it is compatible with all Bosch batteries. To be clear there are two types. GBA and PBA If you have the wrong type You can buy a converter on ebay. for about 12 and use yiur GBA battery and charger. I have used the strimmer and it is satisfactory.

Great but if kit

I'm not sure where some of the previous reviewers got their strimmer from, but this is a great little bit of kit that auto feeds the spool wire, doesn't snap very often (still on the first spool after a couple of months use, and the once I checked the line it DIDN'T need to have the battery removed to feed through), has a battery that lasts more than the 20 odd minutes I need it for, strims the edges in normal mode and neatens the edges nicely in edge-cut mode, with enough power that I needed safety glasses to stop the dirt it kicks up getting in my eyes. Strongrecommend.

Most useless garden power tool I have ever bought!

I chose Bosch down to it being a well established brand but this is just the most time consuming trimmer due to the line constantly snapping and requiring feeding through. The spool constantly snapped when used to edge the lawn; flicking short spool cast offs everywhere ( I had to ensure these were collected so my dog did not eat and choke on them) . ONE use has used a complete reel of line! I am so disappointed, really expected this to be great and save me lots of time but I spent more time re-threading the spool line (which also requires you to remove the battery then re-install it each time) than actually using the trimmer. I don’t recommend this product for these reasons wish I had chosen an alternative brand that fully AUTOMATICALLY feeds the line. Not happy with Bosch - again

Used to love Bosch but all (ALL) recent Bosch purchases have been a bad result. A drill driver trigger/ button died in a week or so, an 18v OFA charger died in weeks,. Bought this strimmer as we had batteries for it but it fed string every time you pressed the trigger which became annoying & it took too much power each time so it ran down batteries much faster & when you stopped for a second, it would not start so you'd be swapping batteries because of an odd feed feature you did not want & soon their use was very low yet the same batteries still worked OK in drills so you needed much higher capacity = keep buying more & more batteries. It doesn’t come with a battery which is in the small print if you search for it. I had to take it back to a store because I couldn’t do an online return. Even the Currys store assistant was shocked that it didn’t have a battery. I imagine that most people don’t have a supply of Bosch batteries and chargers and so it would be useful if it was made more clear. The price of a separate battery and charger was extremely costly (around £50) so I returned the strimmer and purchased the same model with a battery and charger from a rival store for pretty much the same price and strimmed my grass.Strimmer is great though…

The black plastic disc thing you put on at the bottom of the strimmer doesn’t stay on. It keeps coming off which is annoying so I have stopped bothering to keep putting it on. When you cut the grass with the strimmer all the grass blows up all over your shoes and clothes.Apart from all that it cuts the grass ok.

Very light and easy to use

After long research I decided to order bosh and couldn’t wait to try it out. What a disappointment when the trimmer didn’t work. I wanted to return it and bought another brand in different shop. I stop at the b &q to return the bosh and the shop said they cannot take the product back at the moment but they exchange it for a new one. At home I have had dilemma since I had two trimmer which one of it was a half price of it. My husband told me to try out if the new bosh trimmer is working. And finally it worked! Very poor product for the money.

I bought this product last month to replace my worn out strimmer that i’d had for about four years. I chose this model because Bosch tools have a very good reputation. Also there was 10% off. What a let down. I think the discount was given to get shut of a poor product. The handle is non adjustable & even though I’m only 5ft 10in in height after 5 minutes use i have backache. It does not do a good job at cutting even short grass, My old strimmer was less than half the price & did a fantastic job. I do not recommend this product.
