This is a really marvelous eau de toilette. It has notes of elemi, bitter orange, Italian lemon, Indonesian pepper, pink pepper, ambergris accord, oak, cedar, vetiver, balsam of Peru and tears of Siam. I have just ordered this product a SECOND time. A couple years ago i bought the smaller one (1.3 oz) to start off with. I'll tell you, it smelled AMAZING. It has the right touch off... how would you say it.... PERFECTION. It got so many compliments from strangers, friends, and family about how amazing it smelled. They kept on asking, "Where did you get that?" or "OMG that smells so good, I need to get that!". When I ran out I decided to get another one, but the larger one (3.3 oz). When I reveived it in the mail it was exactly just like the one I bought a couple years ago! Trust me, it is worth EVERY PENNY! I hope to get more of this in the future for friends and family!

I am a daily perfume wearer - I do not leave my dressing room without it. I have been purchasing and wearing fine colognes for nearly 40 years. Bottom line … I am serious about cologne. I started wearing Eau des Merveilles a year ago. It is now my signature scent. I cannot recommend this beautiful, sensual scent enough. Get ready though, as you will be stopped by men and women of all ages wanting to know what you are wearing!
I did some research on this perfume, basically all the reviews indicate that the perfume is a woody scent and is more unisex than others. I enjoy woody and fresh scent rather than those floral ones. But when i tried this, the scent is so different from what I imagined. It is kinda heavy...It is not those fresh, light woody scents, but a warm, rich scent. I returned this. My roommate said she love this perfume, but in my opinion, I love Un Jardin en Méditerranée the best.
Not a sweet orange nor a bitter orange, but a metallic yet salty orange overtone - a bit ozonic as well as the citric scent settles down. Strange oceanic ambiance as it settles down and the wood tones come out to play. The best part is when a slight breeze happens while wearing Eau de Merveilles wafting the salty orange notes around you.As time goes on there is a slight scent of honeysuckle mixed in. Strangely addicting scent that morphs and changes pending body heat, outside temperature and body chemistry but manages to retain a hint of orange, sea, and woods - each one ebbs and flow in strength as it wears on. Shame it doesn't last very long - I had to do a second application around the 4 hour mark, but your mileage may vary in regards to longevity.
I finally found my signature scent. I can't describe how much I am in love with this fragrance. It is complex without being confusing. It's spicy but not overly so. Soft powder in the background. Some citrusy orange. And with all that still has a clean scent to it. Just simply beautiful. The perfume is subtle so you could wear this every day. Very sexy scent. It's a must try.
The EDT Eau des Merveilles is easy to use.It lasts for hours and is noticed positively by others who ask what I am wearing.It is very flexible being good for day or evening wear plus being appropriate for all seasons.There are several sizes of this product and I find having all available sizes means I am never without it.I have tried other products but always return to my Hermes Eau des Merveilles. It is my favourite perfume of all time.
Not an option, but a must have!!!! I can’t stress how beautiful this scent is. It’s not overpowering, a hint of orange, yet subtlety sweet. My partner smelled it on a magazine, and quickly bought it for me. That’s how amazing it is! GO BUY IT!
