This machine makes delicious espresso and espresso beverages and is pretty easy to use compared to other espresso machines. Everything is automated so all you need to do is push the button for the drink you want. The machine is relatively easy to clean although the milk frother has multiple parts that need to be washed after every use. Luckily the whole apparatus goes into the dishwasher so that’s a plus. For me the only drawback is that the coffee selection makes something more akin to an americano. I was hoping that this machine could replace my regular coffee machine but I don’t think that will be possible.

The initial set up can take a bit of time, however the instructions are clear and easy to follow and mainly uses pictures to guide you through the process. Once the set up has finished adding the beans couldn't be easier, just tip them into the top and place the cover on, you then select the coffee you want and done! To make a milky coffee like a cappuccino or Latte again is super easy, just fill the separate milk container, pull off the hot water nozzle and clip in the milk, point it into the cup and again done!There are settings you can adjust to your taste of coffee such as grind size and amount of water, these are all clear in the instructions but after trialling over a week, I have found the perfect settings ... I like the ground coffee option for decaff or flavoured coffee and you can trick the machine into making a hot chocolate by selecting my latte (fill the milk cup with the required amount of milk) add hot water to chocolate powder to a paste then press ground coffee and my latte, Perfect hot chocolate. I like the hot water function especially if you want herbal tea it's not quite hot enough for Yorkshire tea but in a rush it will do as it's instant and would probably be good for a baby bottle in a hurry. I also like the self cleaning which happens every time you turn it on or off (auto switch off too) but it does use a lot of water. I keep a cup under the spout so that I'm not constantly emptying the drip tray. Overall a great machine. 4 stars given due to milk cup feature not being as useful as it should.
Good Points: Love the touch screen, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to set up, instructions easy to follow, great coffee.The people who made this really did think of everything, even down to the little red plastic attachment that floats to the top of the tray once it is filled with water.Improvement Points: You do get good quality for what you pay, but ultimately it is a lot of money, so you could probably get one that does similar for less.Wouldn’t recommend using the coffee powder shoot, didn’t really work and made the coffee tray go damp and require additional cleaning.
Cons: I think it’d best for the coffee machine to measure the amount of coffee before the grinding process is began. Currently, if a tiny amount of coffee is left, when any type of beverage selected, system carries on using that tiny bit of coffee and attempts to grind them. However, that tiny amount is not enough for the selected beverage. This is problematic when latte was selected resulting in starting again, or choosing an espresso single shot on top of the latte and frothed milk. I hope that helps. But we love this coffee machine.
