I think if you don’t expect it it can take adjusting to, but certainly the drink is made to drink straight away.Other than that slight issue, no bad points and would 100% recommend.

Pros: Varied simple personalised coffee menu. Fantastic milk delivery and cleaning system. A real upgrade on our previous model.Cons: Nothing really springs to mind other than easier use of ground coffee, though as it’s a bean to cup model it’s not really important.
Pros: all the drinks options are fab. even a large jug of black coffee. I am a decaff coffee user so use pre ground coffee granules, while my partner uses bean to cup, so this is the best of both worldsCons: its a faff having to remove the water spout to plug in the milk spout when I need both options. ours is on the highest heat setting and in all honesty it really could do with being hotter again. coffee does not stay hot very long, even when the cup has been warmed, so you have to drink it fast, which detracts from a nice long slow coffee experience, a la coffee shop experience. the stainless steel drip tray has scratched immediately with use just by putting mugs on it. overall it does what we need/want but at a hefty price tag the water needs to be hotter
Pros: The design of the machine looks really modernCons: I don’t understand the amount of positive reviews of excellent coffee. The machine grinds the same amount of beans regardless of coffee length so ends up over extracting and making a watery bitter coffee. It grinds the same amount of beans for a single and a double espresso and just pushes more water through. The milk based drinks are barely hot and the design of the milk spout makes it difficult to use certain mugs. The “long” coffee option is pointless and again makes watery coffeeFortunately I was able to return to Costco and I got a Melitta Barista T Smart for the same price which is a much much better machine.

The machine automatically turns off and does a rinse cycle when turning on/off. This means that the bluetooth function is utterly pointless as you need to be in the room to put something underneath to catch the rinse water and then place your glass for the coffee (unless you want to have dirty water in your coffee). You also cannot connect via bluetooth unless the machine is on so again you need to have been in the room to turn it on first anyway. Machine descales every blooming week and it takes 4 hours to do or even longer if you walk away from it, you need to be there to keep refilling the tank during the process or it takes longer! We use it prob 6/8 times a day between us and descaling seems to be once a week, you can bypass it at that moment but eventually you have to do it. 4. Can’t make hot choc easily - still trying to work that one out as can do instant frothy milk. 5. Can’t make a cold coffee espresso shot for an iced coffee - can’t make a cold drink option it’s hot water only. If you want an cold espresso you need to make a hot one and have to let it cool, 6. The most frustrating thing is the cleaning shot it does. Great it self cleans, but it’s so often! The machine cleans out a small shot of dirty water at every time it is turned on or off - every time, so you can’t send a drink to the machine from Your app if you are not in front of the machine if the machine timed out and turned off, as it will put a shot of dirty water in your cup. Unless I’ve not yet seen there’s a way in settings to change this. You realistically have to empty the drip tray a few times a day unless you keep a cup under it especially for these cleans. We have set it to not turn off for one hour because of this so you could send a drink to it within the hour. We both work from home so it’s used throughout the day.
