I cannot say enough about the Yucatans. I have purchased five pair one the last 10 years, and I have not even a small complaint. I wash them in my washing machine, and they come out like new. Eventually the sole does wear down but that is after 8 or so years. Cannot complain about that. These shoes have saved my feet and legs!! I wear them every single day, rain, cold, or heat. Highly recommend. Now, if they just came in navy.

So glad these sandals were recommended to me. I have a hip problem, waiting for surgery now. But these allowed me to be more comfortable than anything else. I need a shoe for colder weather that has the same support. I usually wear 7.5 but needed the 8/8.5. So comfortable, no blisters or anything my first time wearing them (2 miles). Can’t say enough. Old ones had stretched slightly. Soles still looked great but I think I wore them inside from walking more on the outside of my foot. Getting a new pair helped a lot with my hip. I have worn these on walks (in the woods too), engaged in sports, etc. Mine are the originals and not 2.0. Hope they never change these. I have had these sandals for a month now and I have to say I really love them. They fit my feet very well. I have had a hard time finding quality sandals that had straps that would adjust to my feet. I have narrow feet and these are perfect for me. They look chic, not frumpy. The nubuck is supple and they are waterproof. VERY comfortable. They also do not get slimy! Every pair of sandals I have owned in the past, my feet get sweaty in them and they develop a nasty black sludge that stinks but I have NOT had that issue with these sandals so far and I have been wearing them every day, in very hot weather. That is a BIG WIN in my book. I am happy that I splurged on these sandals. Quality kicks.

The strap across the front of the foot is no longer adjustable, although photos suggest that it would be. Instead under this fake strap is a thick elastic band that is not adjustable and very uncomfortable. I've had a few versions of this sandal and have really liked them in the past, but would never wear this.
Very comfortable and smart looking off road sandal. I was looking for a walking sandal that was smart enough to wear around town and this fits the bill.
I’ve gotten 2 pairs and they both have come unglued from foot bed.I’ve had these sandals in the past and never had this problem, it’s why I purchased 2 pairs for watering my yard in front and back.Shoes that can tolerate getting wet.Not these they are only 2 Seasons old and are falling apart for the money not worth it. So sad my original sandals had for a decade and nothing like that happened they lasted and I gave them to friend she still wears them.Poor workmanship with new pairs will need to try another sandal at different company to bad I was a die hard customer and would promote your shoe to all, not anymore.
All the sandals have nice color combinations, but these sandals have a light colored upper for summer, yet a dark sole edge that will stay good looking. Light colored sole edges show dark smudges & dirt easily. That's why I picked this color. Of course the sandals are well made with an arch support & lots of impact cushioning, comfortable, and stylish. Definitely recommend. Wish they offered half sizing in these. Mine are not too short in length, but wish the arch were located a little bit more forward. I wear an 8 1/2 & these are for 8 - 8.5. The size 9-9.5 would be too long like a platypus bill.
The toe box of this sandal is not as it appears in the photos. There is a stretchy lining with the leather strap on top. By the time my foot fills the shoe, the leather strap fits only half way across my foot. The black tab is in the middle of my foot instead of near the side. At least 1.5" of the velcro is exposed along the top of the sandal. These two things combine to make the sandal appear ill fitting and unattractive. I will have to pay shipping again and return the sandals. This is disappointing as I have older ecco sandals that I love.
This sandal has been a life savor for me. A wise sales lady recommended them to me. I have probably purchased over 10 pair in the pat few years. I needed both knees replaced and recovering from back surgery. Recently purchased the pink ones. They have kept me walking and are so cute and comfortable. I wear a size smaller and they fit feel great. Great shoe.
